The Spanish Liga is one of the few European competitions where the title isn’t sewn up yet. Barcelona have the advantage as we head into the last round of fixtures but right now it’s tight between themselves and Real Madrid who have two relatively easy fixtures ahead of them.
It’s not going to be easy making a profit in a week full of dead rubbers so plan accordingly with your stakes.
First up is the match between bottom side Granada and Espanyol in 10th place. Last weekend there was some value in backing Granada to win but nothing of the sort this time round. Even at odds of around 4.02 (average odds) I’m not even slightly tempted to back Granada to regain a small amount of pride. Espanyol have been pretty good away from home this season so I’m backing them to pile on the misery at 1.91 with William Hill.
Sporting Gijon takes on Real Betis in a match that I haven’t found anything in yet. It would take a brave man to go for anything in this market and I’m not that brave.
The same goes for Deportivo La Coruna v Las Palmas. Depor have been poor at home, Las Palmas equally so on the road. A game to avoid.
Leganes face Alaves in Saturday’s third game of the day and this one does look interesting. Alaves are in great form right now and I can see them picking up another win on the road here. Take the odds of 4 on offer from bet365.
Osasuna shouldn’t expect to get much from their visit to Sevilla. The home side have been very good at home and have one of the best home defences in the league. I like Sevilla to Win To Nil in this one and you can get that at evens with bet365 and a little higher elsewhere.
Atletico Madrid says goodbye to the Vicente Calderon with their last ever game before moving into a brand new stadium. I’m sure that they would have liked easier opponents than the lads from Bilbao for this game. Bilbao’s attack has misfired on the road more than once this season and Both Teams To Score (No) is a nice option at 2.1 with BetVictor.
I like the draw in the Celta Vigo v Real Sociedad match and at odds of 4.07 with Pinnacle, there is value there as well.
That’s my last bet of the weekend as I’m not getting involved in the games that will decide the Championship.
Take your chances and make your own choices. Please be careful with your stakes though as this time of year is fraught with teams underperforming.
