Bundesliga teams have two games left of their season right now and to keep things fair the League has decided to see all of their games kick off at the same time. We already know that Bayern are Champions (again) and we also know that Darmstadt will be playing in the Bundesliga next season but who will take second place and who else will go down? These are the questions yet to be answered.
From the top of the order, we come to Augsburg v Dortmund and this should be an away win. Dortmund are one of the sides chasing second place and Augsburg have nothing to play for. Yes, there is value in playing the draw at 2.07 with Pinnacle, that doesn’t mean you should always go for it.
Bayer Leverkusen v FC Köln is a game of more interest to me. Köln can just about make it into the European spots but they’ll need to be immaculate to do so. I expect them to get a win in this one and do their best to take it to the last day. Take the 3.8 on offer from Pinnacle.
Darmstadt are down and Hertha are another of those sides chasing Europe. If the odds were better I’d be taking the away win option but I’d want 2.2 before I got on that and I don’t see it happening.
Mainz takes on Eintracht Frankfurt and I fancy the home side for this one. Unfortunately so do the bookies so this is another game I’m not likely to be betting in the Match Odds market on. Both Teams To Score (No) is an option at 2.1 with BetVictor though.
2nd place takes on 1st place in the big match. RB Leipzig have surprised many this season but they’re still an unpopular side amongst fans and not many tears would be shed if Bayern won here. Leipzig needs the points more though so you could argue there is value all over the shop. I don’t have a read on this one so I’m out.
Freiburg and Ingolstadt come face to face and this is one of those few games where both sides have something to play for. Freiburg can make Europe (and probably will), Ingolstadt are fighting against relegation. If the odds rally and I can get above 1.65 then I’ll be interested in Both Teams To Score (Yes) but right now it’s not on the books.
Werder Bremen take on Hoffenheim and this could be a good match. These sides feature two of the best attacks in the league and Bremen at least have a defence that could best be described as “leaky”. I’m taking the 2.46 on offer from Pinnacle for an away win.
Hamburg travel to Schalke and they do need the points that a win would provide. Schalke have been difficult to predict and flakey at times this season but I think we can rely on them to stumble in this one. There are excellent odds on offer (3.7 with Pinnacle) if you want to take the risk but you may feel better with Hamburg Draw No Bet at 2.5 with bet365.
I’d like to round this article out with a bet on the Wolfsburg v Borussia Monchengladbach game but sometimes it’s better to know when not to bet and this is such an occasion for me.
