Champions League Round Of 16 1st Leg Value Bets

I quite like the look of this week’s Champions League matches. There seem to be a few value bets on offer that I’m looking forward to placing. With just 4 games to look at there isn’t a lot of options available, but I think I’ve found something for each game, even if one of the bets will need to be shopped around for.

The first game I’m looking at is also one of the hardest to get a bet on. Bayern Munich are up against Besiktas on Tuesday, and with Jupp Heynckes back in charge at Bayern Munich for the 4th time I think they have an excellent chance of getting into the next round.

So much so, I’m betting them to win without conceding a goal. The best option I’ve found is with 888sport, who are offering odds of 1.78. That’s just about enough for me even if it isn’t going to make me rich.

The other game Tuesday is the one I’ll be tuning in to watch. Chelsea v Barcelona is likely the pick of this weekend’s fixtures and is one I’m looking forward to watching purely as a neutral. I’m also going to be placing a small bet on a Barcelona win. Chelsea are a good side but Antonio Conte hasn’t really impressed at European level and I think he doesn’t have the squad to do so this time even if it is probably his last chance with his current club. At 2.15 with both William Hill and BetVictor, this is one I like very much.

On to Wednesday’s games, and I’m going to get started with Shakhtar Donetsk against AS Roma. I think Roma are one of the best pure footballing sides in the competition and they play an open attractive kind of game that will be perfect for TV viewers like myself. I’m on Both Teams To Score in this one at 1.85 with Betfair.

Finally, there’s the Sevilla v Manchester United game. This isn’t one I’m looking forward to as I think it will be quite defensive and lacking in any “sparkle”. That doesn’t mean there aren’t any betting opportunities, though. I’m on the draw at odds of 3.28 with Pinnacle. Not the highest odds for a draw but still enough in this one to keep me interested.

Best of luck for your betting this week.
