Reaching the end of the group stages and the line up for the knock-out phases is becoming clearer with four teams clear of the rest

Friday 5th May
RCB v Kings XI Punjab
RCB are now out of contention for the knockout stages after a run of disastrous results in which their vaunted batting line up has failed. In their last three innings (49, 132 and 96-9) they’ve scored a combined: 277 runs for-29 wickets in 49.5 overs.
Kings XI are in fifth, 5 points behind the team in fourth though they can still make the play offs with a good run from here and a combination of other results. They haven’t played since last weekend when thrashing Delhi after dismissing them for 67.
Prices here yet again favour RCB with little in the way of form or results to back it up and they are a shade of odds on at 19/20 with KXIP 11/10. That 11/10 has to be seen as a value price here.
Saturday 6th May
Sunrisers Hyderabad v Rising Pune Supergiants
Two teams comfortably in the top four,in 3rd and 4th but 5 points clear of 5th meet with three games each in the group stages to go.
Sunrisers followed up their excellent victory over KKR with a defeat to Delhi failing to defend 185. Pune meanwhile have really come into form with wins over Gujarat and then KKR in the past week.
This should be a very close game with both batting line ups in good form. Prices are Snrisers 10/11, Pune Supergiants 11/10.Accepting that there are match-winners on both sides here, the Pune price appears the more interesting of the two but Sunrisers have quite a significant home advantage Probably a watching brief for me
Delhi Daredevils v Mumbai Indians
Delhi have only played none games but with just three wins they are a long shot to hit the play offs unless they go on a run of form now. With an inexperienced batting line up, this is a tough ask. Their inconsistency is shown by being bowled out for 67 two games ago then making 189 for 3 to beat Sunrisers last time
