Juventus should tie up the league this weekend and if they can do so after winning the Coppa Italia (not yet played) then it will have been a good week for them.
There are of course other matches going on this weekend so let’s go through those quickly and try to identify any value we can find.
Chievo should be soundly beaten by AS Roma in the first of the Saturday matches. Roma are the superior side all round and an Asian Handicap bet should be considered here. I like Roma -2 at 2.07 with BetVictor but it is risky.
Goals are to be expected in the Napoli v Fiorentina game. The odds for over 2.5 goals are about as low as I can remember seeing. Which way those goals will go is a topic of debate though. Fiorentina looks good value at 12 with BetVictor but they haven’t had a lot of success against Napoli recently so this is probably one that’s better off skipped.
Saturdays games are a bit more interesting. There isn’t a bet in all of the games but there’s enough to keep things interesting.
AC Milan v Bologna isn’t one of those matches though. Odds are too low on the home side and I don’t fancy there to be a shock to this one.
Empoli v Atalanta is a lot more interesting. Atalanta at 3.4 with BetVictor is highly tempting and statistically they more than shade this one. That’s my first bet for Saturday.
A home win for Sassuolo v Cagliari is bet no.2 and at 1.85 it isn’t going to make us rich but my numbers say there is value there.
Udinese v Sampdoria is one of those games that could go either way and the bookies know it. Any areas I would like to place a bet are featuring some low odds. So I’m out of that one.
Torino have been pretty average this season but average should be enough to beat Genoa even away from home. Good odds available here as well with 4.46 being offered by Pinnacle.
Juventus v Crotone is the one that almost all eyes will be watching. Crotone have been very poor this season and just a single point would wrap up a Juve title. Nothing in any of the markets is worth betting on but this is worth a watch.
One of the surprise sides has been Inter, not in a good way though. Reasonably big things were expected of the side from Milan but they’ve underachieved, chopped and changed managers and talked big. Lazio, on the other hand, have been fairly consistent and a home win looks a good option against a side that is awaiting yet another new manager this summer. Take the 2.18 with Pinnacle.
Monday’s game is Pascara v Palermo and I have nothing for that one but I think I’ve given you enough options to chew on. Let me know what you think.
