Everyone doubted us last week with Darren Till cashing at a huge dog price, let's attempt to emulate our success at UFC Moscow this weekend.

UFC Fight Night 163: 'Zabit vs Kattar'

UFC Fight Night 163 takes place on Saturday, 9th November live from the CSKA Arena in Moscow, Russia

The Dogs Odds

Anthony Martin vs Ramazan Emeev

Welterweight Bout

UFC Moscow Betting Tip: Anthony Martin to win @ 2.40 [+140] with Pinnacle

Anthony Martin

Age: 29

Record: 16-5-0

Height: 6ft”

Reach: 73.5”

Current Streak: 1 loss

Gym: American Top Team

Notable Gym Members: Amanda Nunes, Dustin Poirier & Colby Covington

Significant Strikes (UFC)

Landed Per Min: 2.69

Accuracy: 37%

Defence: 59%

Grappling (UFC)

Takedown Average: 0.75

Takedown Accuracy: 25%

Takedown Defended: 54%

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/9Jm0-yK66Pg" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Anthony ‘Rocco’ Martin was riding a four-fight win streak until faced with the most dangerous Jiu-Jitsu grappler of his career Demian Maia. With a 5 month lay-off, Martin will return to the octagon in Moscow, Russia in a contest that is far from an easy return the American Top Team veteran. The 29-year-old has racked up an impressive 9 wins in his 5-year UFC venture and it could be argued that Martin’s has yet to reach his prime.

A quick turnaround for Martin since his loss to Maia could put him in a position to fight a case for a title run. Although, taking a trip to Russia on your return fight won’t be an easy task for the American. Composure and will should remain present and given the odds, Martin is definitely the value play here.

Ramazan Emeev

Age: 32

Record: 18-3-1

Height: 5ft 10”

Reach: 76”

Current Streak: 7 wins

Gym: Premium Fit

Notable Gym Members: Antigulov, Ankalaev

Significant Strikes (UFC)

Landed Per Min: 2.51

Accuracy: 47%

Defence: 70%

Grappling (UFC)

Takedown Average: 2.00

Takedown Accuracy: 33%

Takedown Defended: 80%

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/m_fRlH1f55I" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Former M1 champion Ramazan Emeev will step into his fourth UFC bout with a huge momentum in his favour. 3 fights down for Emeev, 3 decision victories under the belt. Now, fighting back home the second time under the UFC banner, Emeev will be looking to impress friends and family with another convincing win.

An intriguing matchup, to say the least, Emeev takes a leap in the level of competition he has faced; he’s now up against five years of UFC experience.

At the end of the day

It’s probably one of the toughest fights on the card to give a convincing prediction. You know what happens when we have coin-flip with swayed odds, we back the dog, of course.

It’s certainly a ballsy move to lay it against the Russian fighting in Russia but, scared money doesn’t make money. Martin should be cautious of the grappling exchanges or clinch offence where Emeev will hold an advantage. I think Martin can mix-up his striking and become the successor in the striking battles across 15 minutes, his counter striking and leg strikes are on point and I don’t expect a loss against Demian Maia to affect the confidence of Martin.

Some statistics below you may find interesting

Emeev has been out for over a year

Six of Martin’s previous eight fights have gone to decision

Emeev is on a 7-fight win streak

Pannie Kianzad vs Jessica Rose Clark

Female Bantamweight Bout

UFC Betting Tip: Pannie Kianzad to win by decision @ 2.40 [+140] with Bet365

Pannie Kianzad

Age: 27

Record: 17-2-1

Height: 5ft 7”

Reach: 68”

Current Streak: 1 loss

Gym: Arte Suave

Notable Gym Members: Damir Hadzovic & Mads Burnell

Significant Strikes (UFC)

Landed Per Min: 2.34

Accuracy: 42%

Defence: 57%

Grappling (UFC)

Takedown Average: 0.68

Takedown Accuracy: 25%

Takedown Defended: 100%

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/XDg30JXHPu8" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Former Ultimate Fighter finalist and current UFC female Bantamweight ‘Pannie Kianzad’ will make her second appearance for the UFC this weekend, against an opponent she knows oh so well. It’s been four years since these two girls first met, where Pannie walked out with a unanimous decision. Time has passed, now both girls will meet but this time; signed by the ultimate fighting championship.

Pannie came up short in her debut against Julia Avila back in July but, she gave Avila trouble on multiple occasions but didn’t have the power Avila presented. Jessica Clark shouldn’t pose these threats on Pannie stepping up in weight; Pannie is familiar with the bigger females whereas Jess steps into a whole new world.

Jessica Clark

Age: 30

Record: 15-4-0

Height: 5ft 9”

Reach: 71.5”

Current Streak: 1 loss

Gym: Kings MMA

Notable Gym Members: Fabricio Werdum, Brian Ortega & Lyoto Machida

Significant Strikes

Landed Per Min: 3.83

Accuracy: 43%

Defence: 60%

Grappling

Takedown Average: 0.79

Takedown Accuracy: 37%

Takedown Defended: 62%

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/GNqACMLg_B8" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>

At the end of the day

Since their first fight, I don’t see a huge improvement in Jessica’s skill-set. Her striking may be slightly more proficient but, other than that, I’m struggling to see where she might be able to take advantage against a more seasoned version of Pannie than she lost too prior.

I don’t see either fighter falling victim to a stoppage loss, Jess will be hunting for the takedown but with an average level of grappling at best, I don’t think she can present a threat to Pannie we haven’t seen already.

Pannie takes this one by decision in a repeat of their first fight.

Some statistics below you may find interesting

Jess moves up from 125lbs

Kianzad won their first fight four years ago

Jess has never been finished

Dogs and Their Odds: Extra Betting Predictions

0.5u on Dalcha Lungiambula to win @ 4.00 [+300] with Bodog

0.5u on Greg Hardy to win @ 3.20 [+220] with Pinnacle

0.5u on Klidson de Abreu to win @ 2.75 [+175] with Bet365

UFC Fight Night 163 takes place on Saturday 9th of November live from the CSKA Arena in Moscow, Russia

If you would like to check up on any underdogs or odds not mentioned in this article then click HERE.
