The weekends without UFC have been tough recently, good news though! The UFC is heading to Greenville, South Carolina this weekend... and that will give us a stretch of events with no more weeks off until August. Let’s start with some underdog predictions.

The Dogs Odds

Ashley Yoder to win by decision (2.45 – 11/10 @ Bet365) vs. Syuri Kondo

It’s not an easy week to pick a dog, I must say. With a fight card only worthy for the die-hard fans, it’s also a fight card you should be cautious whilst wagering.

I have to take all-around skill level in this one, and Ashley Yoder holds more tools in her belt than the opposing strawweight Syuri Kondo. Ashley will have a slight size advantage and grappling advantage which should give her the chance to set the pace.

I think Ashley will dominate the grappling exchanges in this fight and be able to take this fight to the ground and we’ll see her Brazilian Ju-Jitsu brown belt come into play. Even if we don’t see Ashley finish this fight, she’ll give her opponent a gruelling three rounds worth putting our money on.

It seems like Syuri Kondo has no luck fighting outside of Japan, with her record 0-2 when fighting internationally. Searching for her first UFC victory and possibly at risk of losing her job, this might be something to be wary of. With that said, I still think Yoder will have enough to get the job done.

[/]{"component": "embedHTML", "code": "

Highlights of @Yoda_BaBay made by Matt Padilla⚡️ #AshleyYoder #SpiderMonkey #TeamYoder #TUF23 #UFC #ZeusMuayThai ;/a>
— Zeus Muay Thai (@ZeusMuayThai) September 18, 2016
\n\n"}[/]

Tip: Yoder By Decision @ [2.45] [29/20] [+145] with Bet365

Dan Ige (2.25 – 5/4 @ Bet365) vs. Kevin Aguilar (1.67 – 4/6 @ Bet365)

Up and coming Featherweights gained my interest in the next underdog pick. Dan Ige and Kevin Aguilar are lines that seem just too far apart for my liking, and I think Dan Ige has what it takes to hang with Kevin Aguilar and get the job done.

Once Dan Ige can give Aguilar nice striking exchanges on the feet, he’ll find his opportunity to take this fight to the mat where Ige can have a lot more success. I can’t find one of Aguilar's previous fights where he’s faced an opponent who offers as much threat in the grappling department than Ige does.

Aguilar has an impressive 11 fight win streak but has certainly shown flaws in his game. For Dan Ige to win this fight he should implement his grappling into this battle, distract the momentum with strikes and then push for takedowns at the most opportunistic times.

Dan Ige is riding a 3-0-win streak in the UFC and has improved from fight to fight. With plenty of room to develop and training with high-level talent at the extreme couture gym, Dan Ige has the mentality and hunger to be the guy who can put Aguilar’s 11 fight win streak to an end.

Some statistics below you may find interesting

Dan Ige is 9-1 in his previous 10 fights

Ige has never been finished

Aguilar is on 9 fight win streak

[/]{"component": "embedHTML", "code": "

Dynamite Dan Ige (-140) meets Danny Henry with a barrage of blows, which led to a submission...#UFCLondon ;/a>
— SBR Sports Picks (@SBRSportsPicks) March 16, 2019
\n\n\n"}[/]

Tip: Dan Ige to win @ [2.25] [5/4] [+125] with Bet365

Renato Moicano vs Chan Sung Jung

Bonus Tip: Moicano wins inside the distance (2.10 – 5/4 @ Unibet)

Some statistics below you may find interesting

Moicano has the advantage in all striking statistics

Moicano is 7-0 in decision victories

Both fighters lost by TKO to Jose Aldo

Sung Jung hasn’t gone the distance since 2010

UFC Fight Night 154 will take place this Saturday night 22nd June, live from the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in South Carolina.
