Another UFC event bites the dust, it’s that time of the week where we try and hit another UFC Accumulator / Parlay

Michal Oleksiejczuk vs. Ghadzimurad Antigulov

We saw this past weekend how dangerous Khalil Rountree can be when he pieced apart Eryk Anders, well our first leg of this week’s punching parlay ‘Michal Oleksiejczuk’ made his debut UFC fight against Khalil and came out on top in an impressive decision victory. In his second UFC fight, he made light work of Gian Villante in the first round by TKO just two months ago UFC Fight Night 145.

Now in the spotlight once again, Michal heads into Russia vs the home town dog Antigulov. With an impressive record of 20-5-0, Antigulov was on a roll until Ion Cutelaba knocked him out in the first round back in July of last year. Coming off such a devastating knockout against a young and hungry up and comer, I can see Antigulov suffering another TKO loss here.

In his previous loss against Ion Cutelaba, Antigulov dished out some wrestling and his gas tank seemed to be emptied after grappling for the first few minutes. Michal is proven three round fighter who we’ve seen wrestle and strike his way through 15 minutes, I can visualize Antigulov getting tired here and the youngster will capitalize on his stamina and possibly end the fight via TKO in a similar fashion to how Ion Cutelaba got the job done.

So, to kick off this week’s episode of the ‘Punching Parlay’, we’ll take…

Michal Oleksiejczuk at 1.50 – 1/2 with Pinnacle.

(Movsar Landing A Straight Right)

Movsar Evloev vs Seung Woo Choi

Bantamweight division sees two new fighters make their debut in Russia this weekend as Former M1 Bantamweight Champion Movsar Evloev defends home soil versus Korean knockout artist Seung Woo Choi.

Movsar impressed me in his previous fight against Rafael Dias and shown he has that champion mentality of never giving up. After four gruelling rounds, he managed to pull off a TKO victory against his opponent and defended his title till the last breath. This weekend in his native land of Russia, Movsar has the chance to impress fan’s once again as he puts his skills on show under the bright lights of the UFC.

10-0 Professional career wins for Movsar doesn’t pass him like a world beater just yet, but let's see how he fairs versus a big height advantage in his UFC debut, Woo Choi step’s in at 5’11 whilst Movsar is 5’8… Hopefully, it won’t cause many problems for Movsar as I expect him to utilize his wrestling ability in this fight.

Impressive both on the feet and the ground, I expect Movsar to come out and grind Seung for a few rounds and then finish him late. Watching Movsar’s fighting style reminds me of a Bantamweight version of Khabib, with the constant pressure and spamming of the takedown combined with strikes just seems to be overwhelming for anybody up against this Russian mauling style.

So, to finish off this week’s episode of ‘The Punching Parlay’ we’ll go with…

Movsar Evloev at 1.38 – 19/50 with Pinnacle

Punching Parlay

Michal Oleksiejczuk at 1.50 – 1/2 with Pinnacle

Movsar Evloev at 1.38 – 19/50 with Pinnacle

Odds: 2.07 – 107/100 with Pinnacle
Stake: £100 / 1u
Returns: £ 207.00
Profit: £107.00
Starting Bankroll: £100 (1unit / 1u)
Current Parlay Bank: £795.96 (7.9units/7.9u)

The Weekly Punching Parlay Record: 7-0 past seven events

When is UFC Fight Night 149? Saturday 20th April 2019 - 15:00 pm (GMT)

Where is UFC Fight Night 149? Yubileyny Sports Palace St. Petersburg, Russian

What channel is UFC Fight Night 149 on? UFC Fight Pass & BT Sport

For viewers in the United States ESPN+
