Let’s try and formulate a tasty looking parlay for this weekend’s UFC Fight Night 146 in Kansas.

Tony Martin vs. Serginho Moraes

Welterweight competitors Tony Martin and Serginho Moraes put their win streaks on this line this weekend in my opinion a potential fight of the night contender.

Since his move up to 170lbs Tony has looked much healthier and more impressive holding onto a three fight win streak with his most recent win dominating Ben Saunders and then squeezing up a sensational arm triangle choke in the second round. Tony possesses a sound striking game and is no slouch on the ground either because our boy Rocco holds a Brazilian Ju-jitsu black belt in his pocket.

Another BJJ black belt, Seginho Moraes in recent years has beaten some high level guys and has cashed multiple underdog bets for punters. As much as I appreciate Moraes and his submission skill, his striking is way too wild to handle somebody with the technical ability of Tony Martin. I think Moraes throws some wild shots on the feet and this will give Martin the counter striking opportunity he needs.

If the fight does hit the floor it’s anybody’s guess who will gain the advantage here but every fight start’s standing and I certainly favour Tony in the striking department. Moraes chin likes to make an appearance when he’s swinging for the fences, Tony might even be able to catch a KO or TKO here. With such an unpredictable card ahead of us, Tony Martin is a risk I’m willing to take and will be the first play added on this week’s punching parlay.

Tony Martin at 1/2 - 1.50 with Coral

Julian Erosa vs. Grant Dawson

Grant Dawson has impressed me a lot on numerous occasions especially on the Dana White contender series. He is not just an impressive fighter but oozes confidence in how he holds himself. This could be a star in the making and I think Julian Erosa is the perfect match for him to impress UFC brass here.

Julian is very susceptible to a takedown and Grant is a super powerful athlete type of fighter and can easily get this fight to the ground and possibly end his UFC debut with finish. I don’t expect Julian to give Grant any troubles on the ground, if grant can get this fight to the floor early he is going to pound Julian till he’s out or until he frees up position for Grant to lock in a submission.

Julian will be desperate to keep this fight standing where he is clearly at an advantage, I’m not sure he can defend this takedown multiple times and keep himself out of deep waters against such a strong prospect in Grant Dawson. The pressure and submission game in Grant's arsenal will be too much for Julian Erosa to handle and I think Dawson will finish this fight via submission.

Most probably Julian’s last fight in the UFC if he losses in a dramatic fashion here so there is that element to keep in mind, but I’m happy in backing the new comer Grant Dawson.

Grant Dawson at 1.57 – 4/7 with Coral will be the final addition to this week’s parlay/accumulator.

Punching Parlay

Tony Martin at 1.50 – 1/2 with Coral

Grant Dawson at 1.49 – 4/7 with Coral

Odds: 2.35 – 27/20 with Coral
Stake: £50 / 0.5u / Half Unit
Returns: £117.83
Profit: £67.83
Current Parlay Bank: £334.13

When is UFC Fight Night 146? Saturday 9th March, 2019 - 11:30pm start (UK)

Where is UFC Fight Night 146? Intrust Bank Arena, Wichita

What channel is UFC Fight Night 146 on? UFC Fight Pass & BT Sport

For viewers in the United States ESPN+
