More fights, more drama but more importantly… more UFC betting predictions for UFC on ESPN 6 in Boston, Massachusetts.

UFC 243 takes place on Friday, October 18th at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts

UFC Heavyweight Bout

Greg Hardy vs Ben Sosoli

There’s nothing I love more than watching the big boys go to work in the UFC octagon. Heavyweight contender’s Greg Hardy and Ben Sosoli will slug it out on the main card, which is the closest thing to a “guaranteed knockout” we might get. Combined, these two have 14 professional fights, with just two of those going the full 15 minutes.

Greg Hardy has been a victim of bad press, but to dwell on another man’s past is not my job. What he may have, or may not have done is not going to affect or jade my opinion on his combat performance and one thing I can judge him on is the explosive knockout’s he’s been showcasing since his arrival.

Hardy has left all of his opponents in a state of despair and confusion, the sheer athleticism and power have been a problem for anybody on the opposite end of his attack. The former NFL defensive end for the Carolina Panthers and Dallas Cowboys brought along some key attributes from the football world into the mixed martial arts octagon. Just seven months of training in MMA; Hardy felt he was ready to fight. Since that day, he’s been unstoppable, ending the majority of his fights within the first 60 seconds.

Ben Sosoli is making his UFC against a heavyweight contender that nobody wants to fight. You best believe Dana White struggles to find opponents for the likes of Greg Hardy. Other than two decision losses, Ben hasn’t felt the wrath of a TKO or KO loss, which has a high percentage chance of changing this weekend. A

It feels like another tailor-made fight to showcase the athleticism and potential that Greg Hardy has to offer. Don’t overthink this matchup; Hardy can only cost himself this fight.

[/]{"component": "embedHTML", "code": "<iframe width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https://www.youtube.com/embed/Wf5cOIruXVY\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen></iframe>"}[/]

At the end of the day

Is Ben going to takedown Hardy? Nope. Can Ben be the faster, more technical striker up against Hardy? Nope. Will Ben have more power or explosiveness than Hardy? Not a chance. The path to victory for Ben is going to be a lucky knock-out, that’s it. Hardy has the tools here, and so long he doesn’t get over-excited and expose his chin, we should be looking at another early finish for the former defensive end.

The transition from football to mixed martial arts is clearly an advantage when you have the essential sport attributes. Timing, precision, cardio, strength and all-round athleticism is going to cause the heavyweight division a lot of problems, especially when contemplating the lack of experience Hardy has. At this rate, he’ll be taking 3/4 fights per year, minimal damage united with first-round finishers is something regular we might expect to see from Hardy until he reaches the top 10 of the heavyweight rankings.

Accumulator betting tip 1: Greg Hardy [1.36] [-278] @ William Hill

UFC Flyweight Bout

Molly McCann vs Diana Belbita

Molly McCann has improved leaps and bounds since her MMA debut. Coming in as the underdog on multiple occasions, Molly proved the naysayers wrong time and time again. Until her debut UFC fight against Gillian Robertson in her home town of Liverpool, England she had only suffered defeat, once. Since, Molly has conjured up a 2 fight win streak, seemingly; overcoming a huge amount of pressure in her debut.

Diana Belbita will face tough competition in her UFC debut this weekend. The young 23-year old has suffered two losses whilst fighting on the regional MMA scene, notably, these losses have been against current UFC talent. Diana can handle herself against low-level opposition; will she be able to do the same against Molly?

Molly McCann has the momentum swinging her way and is already experienced at this high level of competition. The Romanian debutant is coming up against a warrior in the female Flyweight division in Molly McCann and will need to put on a performance of a lifetime.

[/]{"component": "embedHTML", "code": "<iframe width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https://www.youtube.com/embed/UaYnYM4zTQU\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen></iframe>"}[/]

At the end of the day

Personally, I’m not confident that Diana is ready for a UFC calibre of opponent. Losses against current UFC talent isn’t a good sign and a 4 fight win streak against lesser talented fighters isn’t something Molly should be worried about.

I’ll take the experience, strength and heart with Molly and sip my coffee; stress-free, knowing my money is behind the already proven fighter.

Accumulator betting pick 2: Molly McCann [1.22] [-450] @ William Hill

Punching Parlay Wrap Up

Greg Hardy [1.35]

Molly McCann [1.22]

Parlay/Accumulator Odds: [1.66] [-155] with William Hill

Stake: £200

Returns: £332

Profit: £132

Current Bankroll: + £60 (0.6u)

The Weekly Punching Parlay Season 4 Record: 1-1

Season One Record: 10-0

End of Season 1 Profit: (+10.1 Units of Profit)

Season Two Record: 3-7

End of Season 1 Profit: (-4.95 Units of Profit)

Season Three Record: 7-3

End of Season 1 Profit: (+7.4.
