They are enjoying a superb season in both Champions League and domestic league. They scored 100 goals in 29 Eredivisie fixtures sitting 1st in the standings equal on points with PSV. They have a poor record in their mutual encounters with Juventus losing 6 of their 9 head-to-heads against the Italian giants. This season they have a great squad with experienced players like Dusan Tadic, Lasse Schone, Daley Blind but also some very talented young players like Frenkie de Jong, Matthijs de Ligt or Hakim Zyiech.

[/]{"component": "embedHTML", "code": "

πŸ‡³πŸ‡± Frenkie de Jong πŸ‡³πŸ‡±

A young, exciting star driving @afcajax forward!
Can Juve stop him? πŸ€”#InnovateYourGame #UCL pic.twitter.com/qyv9sNgNjI
β€” UEFA Champions League (@ChampionsLeague) April 8, 2019
\n\n"}[/]

On the other side, Juventus were beaten 2-0 away at Atletico Madrid but once again, Cristiano Ronaldo, the player with the best numbers in the Champions League history, saved the day by scoring a hattrick in the 2nd leg and helping his new club to qualify in the Champions League quarter finals. Juventus have a great squad at their disposal with Cristiano Ronaldo, has not played since going off with a calf injury on international duty, fully fit and ready for another brilliant UCL night. Juve’s coach is also happy with the return of Brazilian winger Douglas Costa but he will be without 2 important names, Giorgio Chiellini, Juan Cuadrado, both injured. Ajax will be without Noussair Mazraoui, suspended for the 1st leg.

[/]{"component": "embedHTML", "code": "

βšͺ⚫️ Cristiano Ronaldo's record in the quarter-finals = πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯#UCL pic.twitter.com/zKQU7W5SdS
β€” UEFA Champions League (@ChampionsLeague) April 8, 2019
\n\n"}[/]

Juventus are one of the best defensive sides in Europe. They conceded just 20 goals all season long in Serie A being 20 points clear at the top of the table with 7 rounds to go till the end of the season. They enter this match on the back of 4 clean sheets in their previous 5 matches across all competitions. They are huge favourites to qualify in the semifinals but the 1st leg won’t be a walk in the park for Ronaldo and Co. Ajax are a tough nut to crack and will enter this match eager to pull off another great upset. They will definitely have an attacking approach, pressing high and making things very tough for Juventus. We will skip the winners-market and focus on the goals market. Ajax at home are very dangerous and we expect them to contribute on the scoreboard.

Best tip for the match: Both teams to score at 1.75 with Bet365

Related articles:

Tottenham v Manchester City: Champions League Betting Preview

Liverpool v FC Porto: Champions League Betting Preview

Manchester United vs Barcelona: Champions League Betting Preview
