They are now with one foot in the Champions League final in Kiev, but they need to be careful in Wednesday's second leg and remember that AS Roma pulled off one of the greatest European upsets knocking out Barcelona in the quarter finals after a brilliant 3-0 home win. AS Roma’s 2 away goals in this double-legged tie but still it will be very tough for the Giallorossi to overturn the 3-goal deficit. The hosts have already beaten a Premier League side this term, winning 3-0 against Chelsea in the group stage, winning 4 of their last 5 homes fixtures against English opposition. The Reds are scoring goals for fun. They’ve scored 38 Champions League this season, more than any English side has scored in an entire UCL campaign. They struggle to keep clean sheets as they don’t have players to park the bus. From their perspective it’s better that they outscore teams than to protect a goalless draw. They are deadly on the break and for them the best defense is the attack. Mo Salah is the man of the moment, a superstar in both Premier League and Champions League. He won the PFA Player of the Year award, being the 1st Liverpool player to collect it since former Red Luis Suarez in 2014. He is leading the EPL top scorer chart with 31 goals netter in 35 matches having great chances to challenge Messi and Ronaldo for Ballon d’Or. Both Salah and Firmino who just signed a contract extension on Sunday, scored 2 goals and delivered 2 assists each in Liverpool superb 5-2 victory last week. We expect them to go all-in also in the 2nd leg, try to win the match and qualify in the finals in style. AS Roma are forced to attack and press forward from the 1st minute in the game. They need a fast goal to maintain their UCL final hopes alive. They will surely leave many gaps in their defense, so the Reds will run riot once again and score on the break. Liverpool’s Oxlade-Chamberlain suffered a serious knee injury in the 1st leg and he will miss the rest of the season, but Klopp is a mastermind and he will surely have the necessary weapons to replace him even if that means Fimino to play a different position. We expect a high-scoring affair but in the same time we don’t expect Liverpool to lose this clash. Best picks: Liverpool to win with DNB at 1.97 with Pinnacle. Both teams to score and over 2.5 goals in the match at 1.6 with Coral.
