After the International break, the system bets return with some interesting angles for this week's action.

Results so Far

After a poor start, we settled things a little bit. It wasn’t a momentous week and once again we suffered a loss overall but we lost less than 1.5 points and this is in line with the kind of losing run we can expect to see throughout the season.

Currently, the bank is showing a 7.78 point loss.

This week

I’ve got 4 bets for you this week and one of those is from a league we haven’t talked about before, mainly because there are so few selections there. I think the selections made for this weekend show real promise (there isn’t a single one I vehemently disagree with) and I hope we’re going to break out of our spiral and start making some profit.

Most of this week’s games take place on Sunday 31st March but our first one kicks off on Saturday and is from the…

English Championship

The only match that has been selected by the system in the Championship this weekend is the match between Wigan Athletic and Brentford. This game kicks off at 3pm and I’ll be looking out for a Brentford win here. Brentford’s form is a bit patchy but Wigan’s is worse and there is some real talent in the Brentford team. At odds of 13/10, this one has a decent amount of value and I really like it.

Ligue 1

Up next is my only selection from the French league system. France has been a difficult area to make money this season and my system has picked out a rare draw selection. The game I’ll be keeping an eye on is Amiens v Bordeaux (kicking off at 2pm on Sunday 31st) and you can pick up a draw at odds of around 2/1. These are low odds for a draw so I’ll be looking for this one to be justified. Both sides seem to be drawing a few games recently so there may be something in this.

Serie A

The Italian Serie A is my busiest area this weekend and I’ve got two selections for you.

The first is the 2pm kick-off between AS Roma and Napoli. This is probably the plum tie of the weekend so I’ll be sitting down to this one if I get the time. This is another game where you can get odds of 2/1 but shop around as some bookies are offering better than others.

My final bet of the weekend is in the evening clash between Inter Milan and Lazio. I’ll be backing the away side in this one to pick up a win against a flakey Inter Milan team. Shop around but don’t go below 23/10 on this one.

My Bets

Best Odds: William Hill

Brentford to win away v Wigan – 13/10 (2.3)
Draw in Amiens v Bordeaux -2/1 (3)
AS Roma to win at home v Napoli - 2/1 (3)
Lazio to win away v Inter Milan – 23/10 (3.3)
