This week we have three bets in my personal betting system. Find out our selections for this weekend's action.

Results so Far

Lazio’s win away against Inter Milan made things look a bit better but in the end another losing week was had. It’s frustrating because on the Thursday when we record the Best Bets video, more games were picked out and some others dropped out of the running. You can imagine what happened, more winners from Thursday and less from the earlier article. This wasn’t a fault of timing but simply a bad turn of events. I could delay articles until later but if I did that I’d miss the week where the early selections ended up being more profitable.

I guess the lesson to take from this is simply to watch the videos on Thursdays as well!

This week

Just 3 bets right now and only two leagues covered. Please bear in mind when you see these selections that they are automated, I have had no manual input so although the selections are at somewhat long odds, this is not an attempt to chase a profit. It’s just the way things have ended up.

The midweek matches have made things a little tricky as I’m writing this article before most of the games have kicked off.

La Liga

Saturday has two selections but only one in La Liga. The match I’ll be keeping an eye on is the Rayo Vallecano v Valencia game that kicks off at 17.30 on Saturday. Backing the home side isn’t an easy bet but that is what’s been picked out here. Valencia have been the better team all season and are the favourites for this one but it’s not completely clear cut. Odds of 271/100 are available for the home side but as always, shop around to get the best price and maximize the value.

Ligue 1

There are two bets in Ligue 1 for me this week and I’ll be up front with you, neither fill me with confidence, mainly because of the teams involved. Up first is the Saturday game between Guingamp and AS Monaco. Monaco have been a statistical outlier for much of the season and have cost me a fair bit of money so far. They’ve flip-flopped between managers and are still in danger. Luckily for us (as we’re backing Monaco here), Guingamp have been even worse. Monaco’s form at home is what has been there lead balloon so far this season so an away trip will probably be looked at as a good thing.

My second bet takes place at 14.00 the next day and is the Toulouse v Nantes match. Toulouse to lose has been a common refrain this season and it’s not always gone that way. That little ditty is being sung again this week though as my system has picked out an away win here.

My Bets

Home win in Rayo Vallecano v Valencia at 271/100 (3.71) with William Hill
Away win in Guingamp v AS Monaco at 23/20 (2.15) with William Hill
Away win in Toulouse v Nantes at 11/5 (3.2) with William Hill
