There’s very little break between this round and the next one so we may see coaches shuffle their teams about and try to make the best use of their squads. Not many sides will be.

There’s very little break between this round and the next one so we may see coaches shuffle their teams about and try to make the best use of their squads. Not many sides will be able to do that without weakening so it may be a case of picking which game gives you the best chance of winning and going all out for that one.

https://youtu.be/aCPt5kFGOnE

Friday night’s game is between Hannover and Hamburg and although there is very little difference in the head to head results over the last few years, there is some value on the away side in this one. Pinnacle are offering 3.57 for a Hamburg win and although they’ve hardly been a model of consistency over the last few seasons, this is worth betting on.

Bayern Munich welcome Mainz on Saturday and seeing as they played a Champions League match midweek, you could forgive them if they rotate the side a little. Mainz will be feeling good after last weekend’s win but I think even a “rotated” Bayern side will be enough to see them off. There’s no value in the market now but watch what happens after the line-ups are announced. If the odds rise, then it may be worth getting involved.

Eintracht Frankfurt kick off against Augsburg at the same time. The draw is the most likely result in this one but there’s no value in that market. Instead I’m going for Augsburg +0.5 in the Asian Handicap market. BetVictor are offering 2.04 and that’s just about got enough value for me. Do not go below evens on this one.

Werder Bremen and Schalke have a habit of cancelling each other out. I’m expecting goals in this one but after checking out the Both Teams To Score market, I still haven’t been able to find anything I want to put my money on.

VfB Stuttgart and VfL Wolfsburg round out the days early kick-offs and there is some clear value on the away side here. I’m taking the 3.02 given by Pinnacle but the draw is a risk in this one as well.

RB Leipzig and Hoffenheim round the day out but I’ve got nothing for this one as I want to see how the home side copes with their Champions League exertions.

With no bets down for Sunday it will just be a day where I can sit back and enjoy a match. Hoffenheim v Hertha Berlin is probably the most competitive of the games but I’ll be waiting for the early evening game between Dortmund and FC Köln. I always enjoy watching Dortmund and want to see how they’re coping with their injuries.
