The Bavarian team hit form and top spot in Bundesliga ahead of their UCL clash against Liverpool, whilst Barcalona and Lyon currently sit at 0-0 from the 1st Leg.

Bayern Munich vs Liverpool

Wednesday, March 13, Allianz Arena

The German side Bayern Munich are back in top shape just in time for their crucial Champions League match against Liverpool. They simply destroyed Wolfsburg last weekend beating them 6-0 having 5 different scorers. That’s says everything about their desire to win their domestic league and to be fully prepared for thier Liverpool clash. Bayern's Kingsley Coman has been out since late February with a hamstring injury but he’s expected to return and help his side to progress in the QFs of the competition. The nature of their last 2 Bundesliga impressive wins (5-1 against Gladbach and 6-0 against Wolfsburg) should alert Liverpool. Their only huge problem is that they will be without Joshua Kimmich and Thomas Muller who are both suspended, and we all know how important Joshua is and what a great 1st Leg he did stopping Liverpool’s deadly attacking trio from creating scoring chances. Liverpool’s best defender Virgil van Dijk is back after he missed the 1st Leg through suspension. This is a balanced match between 2 great sides and the away goal might count a lot so if Liverpool will contribute on the scoreboard it will be very difficult for Bayern to win the match.

Best tip for the match: Over 2.5 goals at 1.78 with Unibet

Barcelona vs Lyon

Wednesday, March 13, Camp Nou

Lyon managed to hold Barcelona to a goalless draw in the 1st Leg making it very difficult for the Spanish giants but very interesting for the neutral fans. Many are expecting another huge Champions League upset but we don’t. Lyon are yet to taste success over their Spanish opponents with all of thier three mutual encounters played in Barcelona ending with home wins. Barcelona enter this match on the back of 11 unbeaten games across all competitions and are huge favourites to advance in the quarter finals being priced at 1.2 with Bet365. The French side are expected to have a defensive approach and try to stop Lionel Messi and Co. from creating many scoring opportunities. We expect a match totally dominated by the hosts. Barca have not won this competition since 2015 losing in the Quarter Finals in the previous three seasons. They are determined to win the treble this season (La Liga, Copa del Rey and Champions League) so Lyon are just another opponent in their quest.

Best tip for the match: Under 3.5 goals in the match at 1.76 with Bet365
