The two heavyweights, Brazil and Argentina will meet each other on Wednesday in Belo Horizonte in a gigantic encounter.

Brazil vs Argentina

Wednesday, July 3, at Mineirão (Belo Horizonte)

The South American El Clasico, one of the greatest football rivalries in the world is the most expected match this week. Unfortunately for the football fans Messi won’t face Neymar as the Brazilian is injured and is out of the entire tournament. Many players from the 2 sides are teammates, Messi with Coutinho and Arthur (Barcelona), Aguero and Nicolas Otamendi with Gabriel Jesus (Manchester City), Angel Di Maria and Leandro Paredes with Thiago Silva and Marquinhos (Paris Saint-Germain), Paulo Dybala with Alex Sandro (Juventus) or Nicolas Tagliafico with David Neres (Ajax). Argentina kicked-off their Copa America campaign with a 2-0 defeat to Colombia but they are unbeaten since then keeping 2 clean sheets in their previous 2 matches against Qatar and Venezuela. On the other side, Brazil are still yet to concede but they are struggling to convert their goal scoring opportunities. They were very dominant in their 4 Copa America matches but they failed to score in 2 of them needing penalties to beat Paraguay and qualify in the semis. This is by far the biggest test for the hosts who are favourites to win in regular time being priced at 1.8 with Bet365. It’s good to know that there’s no extra time on the quarter finals and semifinals in Copa America so if the game ends in a draw it will go to penalties. Brazil kept 16 clean sheets in their last 20 fixtures across all competitions scoring in 18 of them. They have a huge attacking firepower and a rock-solid defense but were yet to be truly tested. Argentina will hope to improve their head-to-head El Crasico record and pull off the upset to reach the final of the tournament. They played great against Venezuela and we expect them to extend their scoring form. It’s always tough to predict the outcome of such a clash but we expect a Brazil win. Out top betting selections is coming from the goals-market.

Best tip for the match: Over 2 goals Asian Handicap at 1.74 with Pinnacle

Chile vs Peru

Thursday, July 3, at Arena do Grêmio (Porto Alegre)

Peru were very lucky in the quarter finals but managed to pull off a great upset beating Uruguay on penalties to reach the semifinals. On the other side Chie surprisingly knocked-out Colombia and will face Peru on Thursday. The Chileans failed to score in their previous 2 matches, and we expect them to extend their goal-scoring struggles against a stubborn Peruvian side who will once again have a defensive approach and try to push the match on penalties. After a superb start to his Copa America campaign, Alexis Sanchez is once again out of shape. We expect him to play higher against Peru and combine more with his teammate Eduardo Vargas. Peru failed to find the back of the net in 3 of their 4 Copa America matches, and it will be a surprise to see them contribute on the scoreboard. Chile are at least 1 class above Peru right now and we will back them to win in regular time and book their tickets for the final where they will play of the 2 South America giants Brazil or Argentina.

Best tip for the match: Chile to win at 1.9 with Bet365
