Euro 2020 qualifying offers plenty of value on Tuesday!

Albania vs Iceland

Tuesday, September 10, at Elbasan Arena

Iceland sit top of Group H after winning four of their opening five Euro 2020 qualifying matches. They coasted to a 3-0 victory over Moldova on Saturday and they should be full of confidence as they head to Elbastan for their next game. Albania suffered a miserable Nations League campaign, as they lost home and away to Scotland and finished bottom of their group. They lost 2-0 to Turkey in their first Euro 2020 qualifier, before beating lowly Andorra 3-0. Next up they travelled to Iceland and suffered a 1-0 defeat, before beating Moldova last time out. They are ranked 64th in the world by FIFA, 28 places below Iceland, and that is reflected in their results. Iceland are undoubtedly strongest at home, but they picked up a 2-0 win away at Andorra earlier this year, and they are a technically superior team to Albania, so they should get a result on Tuesday.

Tip: Iceland draw no bet at 1.83 (5/6) with Boyle Sports

Luxembourg vs Serbia

Tuesday, September 10, at Josy Barthel

Serbia really need to win games like this if they are to reach Euro 2020. Ljubisa Tumbakovic’s men began their qualifying campaign with a strong draw away from home against European champions Portugal. Yet they then suffered a 5-0 thrashing at the hands of Ukraine to plunge their qualification hopes into doubt. A subsequent 4-1 win against Lithaunia followed, but they slumped to a 4-2 defeat at home to Portugal on Saturday. It was surprising to see Tumbakovic leave a couple of the most exciting young stars in world football on the bench. Sergej Milinkovic-Savic of Lazio did not start, while Real Madrid wunderkind Luka Jovic was also left out. The manager may decide to give them a chance against Luxembourg, but either way it is a game they must win. Luxembourg is a small nation with no footballing pedigree, and Serbia should steamroller them on Tuesday. They are lagging behind Ukraine and Portugal in their group and they need to return to winning ways quickly.

Tip: Serbia half-time / full-time at 1.85 (17.20) with Coral

Moldova vs Turkey

Tuesday, September 10, at Zimbru Stadium

Moldova have lost four out of five games so far during their Euro 2020 qualifying campaign and they should be no match for Turkey. Senol Gunes’ men lost 2-1 away at Iceland in their last game, but they won their previous three matches. That included a magnificent 2-0 victory over world champions France, in which Kaan Ayhan and Cengiz Under were on target. They are now locked in a ferocious three-way battle with Iceland and France to qualify for Euro 2020, while Moldova are one of the whipping boys in the group. Their only victory came over the tiny mountainous nation of Andorra, and they have been swept aside by every other team they have faced. Turkey hosted Moldova earlier this year and beat them 4-0. Moldova have conceded 13 goals in five games and scored just twice, and Turkey should beat them easily on Tuesday.

Tips: Turkey to win half-time / full-time at 2.30 (13/10) with Paddy Power; Turkey to win to nil at 22/05 (21/20) with Boyle Sports
