Day two of the Euro 2020 competition kicks off with the second group A fixture between Wales and Switzerland as well as all of group Bs game which include dark horses Denmark and one of the competitions favorites, Belgium.

Wales vs. Switzerland

Saturday, June 12, 2021 - 09:00 AM EDT
at Baku Olympic Stadium

We expect a cagey affair in Baku as Wales and Switzerland go head to head in their opening round match of the Euros. Both teams are in a very difficult group that also includes Italy and Turkey and both nations will be desperate for a win here if they have aspirations of making it out of the group.

Just four places separate these two teams in the FIFA world rankings, as Wales sit 17th and Switzerland 13th. The Swiss got off to a horrible start to the year, failing to win in their first 7 games but have since steadied the ship and won their last six matches. Wales have only been beaten in their last 13 games by England, France, and Belgium.

This is a hard game to call as it could end 0-0, 1-1 or 1-0 for either team in our opinion. There's even room for a 2-1 win either side, for this reason we are staying away from the goals market and the winners market. We believe the best bet to be both teams over 19.5 booking points.

Wales have averaged 2.4 cards for and 3 against in their recent competitive games and Switzerland have seen 2 for and 1.6 against. We expect both teams to hit 20 booking points here.

For those new to this betting market, 1 yellow card is worth 10 points and 1 red is worth 25 points.

Euro 2020 Tip: Both teams Over 19.5 Booking Points at 2.20 with 888Sport

Denmark vs. Finland

Saturday, June 12, 2021 - 12:00 PM EDT
at Parken Stadium

Denmark get their Euro’s underway on home territory in Copenhagen. They will be confident of victory, as there have only lost twice in their previous 13 matches and have never lost to Finland with 4 wins and 1 draw in their five head to heads.

The Dans are a very strong team defensively and have one of the best goalkeepers in the competition in the form of Kasper Schmeichel. They beat Finland to nil in 3 of their 5 head to heads and have also won to nil in 7 of their previous 10 home games. Not only will Denmark control possession, but it’s also going to be a struggle for the Finnish team to get shots on goal. Finland have been impressive defensively also and have kept 13 clean sheets in their previous 24 games, this Scandinavian matchup could very easily see under 1.5 goals at 2.75.

Euro 2020 Tip: Denmark Win To Nil at 2.05 with Bet365

Belgium vs. Russia

Saturday, June 12, 2021 - 03:00 PM EDT
at Gazprom Arena

The Russians' only advantage in this gamer is the fact they are on home soil. Belgium are a far superior squad and have some of the best players in world football right now. They are amongst the top three favorites to lift the trophy, while Russia would do well to get out of this group.

Belgium faced Russia in the qualifiers for this competition and won both meetings by a 3 and 2 goal margin, respectively. Russia will have to face one of the world's most prolific strikers in Romelu Lukaku, who was instrumental in Inter Milan’s Serie A title. Lukaku is amongst the favorites to be the top scorer in the competition, and we are interested in him to score first here at odds of 4.0.

Our official play for this matchup is Russia over 19.5 booking points and over 1.5 match goals. Russia should pick up 2 yellows or 1 red in this matchup as they will no doubt have to foul the Belgians to stop some of their attacks. We should see two goals in this matchup as Belgium will look to lay down the hammer in this tournament and prove they mean business. We wouldn’t be surprised to see Belgium win by 3+ goals and potentially even a Russian red card.

Euro 2020 Tip: Russia over 19.5 Booking Points + Over 1.5 Match Goals at 1.95 with 888Sport
