High-scoring affairs expected on Thursday in Europa League

Arsenal vs Valencia

Thursday, May 2, Emirates Stadium

Arsenal will host Valencia to the Emirates on Thursday for the first leg of their semifinal fixture in Europa League. Arsenal’s recent form in the Premier League has been very poor. They lost 3 back-to-back matches in the English top-flight league conceding 3 goals in each match with 2 of them being on the road. They saw their 8-home-match winning streak come to an end 3 rounds ago when they lost 3-2 to Crystal Palace despite controlling the match. They lost just 4 home matches across all competitions since the start of the season. They are unbeaten at home this term in Europa League keeping 5 clean sheets in the process. On the other side, Valencia lost two on the bounce in the Spanish La Liga but are enjoying a brilliant Europa League campaign. Both teams are out of top 4 in their domestic leagues so winning the Europa League trophy might be their only chance to earn a UCL spot for the next season. Valencia are struggling away from home giving up plenty of scoring chances and conceding many goals. They conceded at least 2 goals in 3 of their last 7 matches on the road so we expect them to suffer defensively on Emirates. We expect a high-scoring affair with Arsenal being huge favourites to win the 1st leg. The hosts know their home power and will try to solve the qualification issue from home and give their fans something to cheer for. Arsenal will be without Ramsey, Bellerin and Welbeck and Holding all injured while Valencia will be without Coquelin suspended and Cheryshev and Kondogbia injured.

Best tip for the match: Over 2.5 goals at 1.95 with Bet365.

[/]{"component": "embedHTML", "code": "

💥 @LacazetteAlex

🏆 Our #UEL semi-final is drawing nearer... ;/a>
— Arsenal FC (@Arsenal) April 30, 2019
\n\n"}[/]

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Chelsea

Thursday, May 2, Commerzbank-Arena

Eintracht Frankfurt are simply superb. They are enjoying one of the best seasons on both domestic league and Europa League without being fully packed with star players. They won all 6 matches in a group with Olympique Marseille, Lazio and Apollon Limassol and they knocked-out Shakhtar Donetsk, Inter Milan and Benfica. They are sitting 4th in the German top-flight league 3 points above Gladbach and they are expected to finish there are book their Champions League tickets. They are brilliant going forward and they are scoring goals for fun, but they also concede many goals. Unfortunately for them Ante Rebic is suspended for the 1st leg while Sebastien Haller is doubtful, so their most powerful weapon remains Luka Jovic, a brilliant striker who netted 25 goals this season across all competitions. On the other side, Maurizio Sarri and Co. are winless in their previous three Premier League matches but they are unbeaten in Europa League so if you fancy a bet on the “winners market” you might want to take a look at Chelsea to win with DNB (Draw No Bet) priced at 1.86 with Unibet. The 2 teams have never met in a competitive game before, but both have won the competition, Chelsea in 2013 while Eintracht lifted the trophy back in 1980. Chelsea are huge favourites to qualify in the final, but Eintracht have a great squad and could create many problems at least on their turf. We expect another thrilling match between 2 great attacking sides.

Best tip for the match: Over 2.5 goals at 1.91 with Betfair.

[/]{"component": "embedHTML", "code": "

Eintracht are still unbeaten at home in the #UEL this season and have conceded just 2 goals!
