We return to league football this weekend after the International break, as Atletico Madrid and Barcelona face off in the El Otro Classico. We also have betting picks and analyses from the Italian and German leagues.

Bayern Munich vs. Werder Bremen

Saturday, November 21st, 2020 – 2:30 PM GMT at Allianz Arena

Bayern Munich returns to Bundesliga action this weekend after many of their players had a poor International break. Robert Lewandowski and Poland failed to get more than 2 shots against Italy, whilst it climaxed on Tuesday night as many Bayern Munich players playing for Germany were thrashed by Spain 6-0.

Their matchup against Werder Bremen this weekend will be the 109th game between these teams in the top division and will become the most contested head to head fixture in the Bundesliga. There is a rivalry between these teams, but we don’t think that will matter much this weekend as we expect Munich to take the victory in this one, although Bremen have been in good form lately.

The previous ten games between these teams have seen all Munich wins and an average of 3.8 goals scored. For this reason, we believe the best bet for this Bundesliga fixture is Bayern Munich to win and over 3.5 goals at odds of 1.65 with Betway.

We suspect many of the German players in this Munich squad will want to put on a big performance after their humiliating defeat to Spain. Not only that, but Munich is dominating the league right now having scored 27 goals in just 7 games and have not lost to Bremen in 24 fixtures.

Free Soccer Pick: Bayern Munich Win and Over 3.5 Goals at 1.65 Betway

Spezia vs. Atalanta

Saturday, November 21st, 2020 – 5:00 PM GMT at Stadio Alberto Picco

6th place Atalanta travels to Spezia this weekend in the Italian Seria A, looking for their 5th win of the season. Atalanta will be hoping to kick start their league campaign with a victory over Spezia this Saturday. As they have only managed two wins in their previous five games in all competitions, compared to six wins on the trot before that.

Spezia was promoted from Seria B last season, and they have somewhat impressed, as they are currently out of the relegation zone in 13th place. As many will know, Atalanta is the league’s top scorers, having managed to score 18 goals in 7 games, which averages out to almost two and a half goals a game.

Spezia games have been high scoring this season, with 6 of their last 8 games seeing 3 goals scored and furthermore 4 of those 8 have seen 4 goals scored. Spezia's identity of play will lead to many attacking chances for Atalanta. We believe the visitors can score a boatload of goals against this Spezia team.

Our pick for this leg of the treble is Atalanta to score over 2.5 team goals at Seria A betting odds of 2.0, available with Bet365. Only three teams have managed to score 3 times on Spezia this season, and all of them have high calibre offences in the form of AC Milan, Juventus, and Sassuolo. They now face the highest scorers in the league.

Free Soccer Pick: Atalanta Team Total Over 2.5 at 2.0 with Bet365

Atletico Madrid v Barcelona

Saturday, November 21st, 2020 – 8:00 PM GMT at Wanda Metropolitano

Atletico Madrid must grab the League by the scruff of the neck and utilize their best opportunity to win a league title since the 2013/14 season, which they managed to win by just 3 points. Barcelona, along with Real Madrid, have not been this weak in a long time.

Atletico remains the only undefeated team in La Liga at this present moment and boasts a very impressive home record in which they have won three and drawn one, along with scoring 12 goals and conceding just the 1. Barcelona on the other hand has a somewhat average away record, taking just one win and one draw, as well as a loss.

Atletico Madrid knows a win in this game could put them in prime position to take control of the league. Should they win, they will be 4 points ahead of their biggest rivals (Real Madrid), and a whopping 9 points ahead of Barcelona. A win would also see them go level with the top of the current front runners, Real Sociedad, who we believe to be just pretenders for the league title (they have a good squad, but lack the depth to sustain their impressive form).

Atletico remains unbeaten in 23 league games; they are in top form right now and boast the likes of Joao Felix and former Barcelona player Luis Suarez up front. As well as having the best defence right now in all of Europe’s top five leagues. They've only conceded two goals in 7 games. We can’t look past Atletico getting a result against this Barcelona team.

We believe the best pick to be Atletico Madrid draw no bet at La Liga odds of 2.0 with the bookmaker Paddy Power. We think Atletico should win this fixture but when it’s all said and done it is hard to oppose Lionel Messi and Co, even when they are in a slump.

Free Soccer Pick: Atletico Madrid Draw No Bet at 2.0 with Paddy Power

European Treble: Odds 6.60 (3.30 should Atletico Madrid Draw)
