Last week the Spanish media outlets said Real Madrid have agreed a fee of 50 million euros for Mendy. He would become Los Blancos’ 4th major signing after Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic and Eder Militao. The French player is expected to continue his medical after the international break and sign with the Spanish giants before the end of the week.

Chelsea’s manager Maurizio Sarri is expected to leave Stamford Bridge this week being set to join Juventus on a three-year contract. The Blues gave him permission to break his contract, which runs until 2020 but they are looking for a compensation fee worth around £5million. The Italian manager recently won the Europa League trophy and finished 3rd in the Premier League after Manchester City and Liverpool. Chelsea have not yet paid the fee for Higuain who scored just 5 goals in 18 matches for Chelsea and reports are saying Sarri is likely to take 2 players with him to Juventus, Emerson Palmieri and Gonzalo Higuain. Club legend Frank Lampard who enjoyed a great season with Derby County is huge favourite to replace Sarri being priced at 1.2 with most bookies.

According to the Spanish media, the Red Devils have told Real Madrid that Paul Pogba is not for sale refusing their offer. However, Paul Pogba has already agreed a return to Juventus, but the Italian will have to raise some funds before buying United’s star.

Matthijs De Ligt will definitely leave Ajax this summer but is yet to decide on a new club. PSG promised to pay him £260k a week and transfer him for £80million but Barcelona are expected to make a final push to sign the centre-back by re-opening talks with his agent Mino Raiola.

Another great player from Ajax, Donny van de Beek, who enjoyed a memorable domestic and European season with his club has his eye on a transfer to the Premier League sides Manchester United or Tottenham.
