On-fire Inter expected to extend their winning streak

Inter Milan vs Parma

Saturday, October 16, at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza (San Siro) (Milan)

Inter Milan are set to host Parma on Saturday in Serie A. Inter have impressed this season under their new manager Antonio Conte scoring a total of 18 goals in 8 Serie A matches and winning 7 of their 8 domestic league fixtures. They also bounced back in Champions League beating Dortmund 2-0 on their turf. In Serie A they are sitting 2nd in the standings just 1 point behind leaders Juventus and they will definitely try to maintain that short gap adding 3 more points to their season tally. On the other side, the newly promoted side, Lecce have won just 2 games so far this season losing 5 in the process. They have the 2nd worst defence in the league with 17 goals conceded in 8 matches, averaging 2+ goals in every match. They are sitting just 1 point above the danger zone.

Team News

Despite being with Alexis Sanchez who got injured on international duty, Inter Milan have the necessary attacking weapons to beat Lecce and to do it in style. They have Lukaku, a powerful striker who can always be dangerous inside the box. They have Lautaro Martinez who’s scoring goals for fun this season. They have a world class middle-line with Candreva, Brozovic and Asamoah and a rock-solid defence with Diego Godin as a leader. Unfortunately, they will still be without Stefano Sensi who got injured in the 2-1 defeat against reigning champs Juventus but that shouldn’t be a huge problem against Parma. Parma are not a bad team. Gervinho and Inglese can give huge headaches to Inter but we don’t expect them to pull off the upset.

Betting Analysis

Parma are scoring goals because they always have an attacking approach and are playing an open football, but they struggle to keep clean sheets. They managed to keep just 1 clean sheet so far and surprisingly that happened against Sassuolo. They failed to score in 2 of their previous 3 matches on the road and it will be very tough for them to find the back of the net against Inter. That doesn’t mean they will change their style and start defending. Nope… They will try to score as they are doing in every single match and they will have the same attacking approach opening many spaces in their defence. Inter should comfortably win this match.

Best tip for the match: Inter to win and over 2.5 goals in the match at 1.87 with Coral.
