Barcelona play Atletico Madrid in a huge game at the top of La Liga this weekend, and there is also plenty of value on offer elsewhere.

Real Madrid v Eibar

Los Blancos suffered a humbling 2-1 defeat away at Valencia on Wednesday night and they remain 13 points behind league leaders Barcelona. They had previously won three on the bounce under Zinedine Zidane after the Frenchman returned to the hot seat, but their limitations were exposed at the Mestalla. They badly miss Cristiano Ronaldo and they are woefully leaky at the back, so major surgery will be required on the squad in the summer. However, they have a great opportunity to get back to winning ways on Saturday against Eibar. José Luis Mendilibar’s men beat Rayo Vallecano at Municipal de Ipurua on Wednesday, but they have been dreadful on the road this season, picking up just one win in 15 games on their travels. They are good going forwards, but poor at the back, so Real Madrid to win and both teams to score looks interesting at 13/10 (2.30) with 888 Sport. Alternatively, Betway has football betting odds of 13/20 (1.65) on both teams to score.

Rayo Vallecano v Valencia

Defeat to Eibar left Rayo Vallecano marooned in 19th place in La Liga, six points below safety. They have taken just one point from their last five games and they appear to be going down with a whimper. Valencia are heading in a very different direction, as they are unbeaten in 17 games and back up to fifth in the table. They were fourth last season, but they found themselves mid-table for much of the current campaign as a result of drawing too many matches. Now they have won four of their last five league games and they will be hugely buoyed by that win over Real, with Goncalo Guedes and Ezequiel Garay putting them in charge before Karim Benzema grabbed a late consolation. Bet365 has 21/20 (2.05) on a Valencia win.

Barcelona v Atletico Madrid

Barca suffered a surprise 4-4 draw against Villarreal in midweek and they are now just eight points clear of Atletico at the top of the table. They left Lionel Messi on the bench to preserve his energy for future challenges such as this game, but they required him to come on and rescue a point after they ended up trailing 4-2. Atletico Madrid have returned from the international break full of purposes, beating Alaves 4-0 and Girona 2-0. They appear to have shaken off the disappointment of their Champions League defeat to Juventus and they can now focus solely on La Liga. Victory here would cut Barcelona’s lead to five points, with seven games still to play, so the stakes are high. Barca will surely roll out all their big guns for this game and it should be a thrilling match. Both teams to score looks good at 79/100 (1.79) with Marathon Bet and 3/4 with Bet365.

Celta Vigo v Real Sociedad

Both teams to score also appeals in this game at 3/4 with Sportingbet. Celta Vigo have not kept a clean sheet in five games and they played out a thrilling 3-3 draw with bottom club Huesca last time out. The previous game saw them beat Villarreal 3-2, so they have taken four points from their last two games, but they remain 18th and in grave danger of relegation. Real Sociedad are looking a lot more comfortable as they are nestled in mid-table. Yet they are winless in seven games and they have not kept a clean sheet in their last four matches. We should therefore be in for an open, entertaining game. Both teams have scored in 63% of Celta Vigo games so far this season, a league high, and 52% of Real Sociedad games. It finished 2-1 to Real Sociedad when they met earlier this season.
