Paris Saint-Germain are 17 points clear at the top of the table but there’s still plenty to play for in Ligue 1.

Strasbourg vs Lyon

Saturday, March 9, Stade de la Meinau

Six weeks ago, Strasbourg were fighting for a top 4 finish but with just 2 points earned in their last 5 Ligue 1 matches they are now trailing 4th-placed Marseille by 7 points. Their poor run of form continued last weekend when they lost against 8th-placed Nice also being red carded in the last minutes of the match. On the other side, Lyon are trailing 2nd-place Lille by 5 points and their road form is very poor. They lost their previous 2 away matches to Nice and Monaco failing to score in both games. They are expected to rest many of their key players as they travel to play Barcelona next week in Champions League. Strasbourg are not a bad team and they still have good chances to climb the standings and finish the season in a good position. They just need 1 good match, and this might be it. We are not going with a straight win as we believe it’s dangerous. but we believe Strasbourg should be able to earn at least 1 point from this match.

Best tip for the match: Strasbourg Draw Double Chance at 2.05 with Bet365.

Marseille vs Nice

Sunday, March 10, Stade Velodrome

Marseille are back in top shape. They managed to climb till 4th spot in the standings and they are still fighting Lyon for a top 3 finish. Their new striker, Super Mario Balotelli is in top shape scoring 3 goals in his last 4 matches for his new club. His last goal celebration went viral as he went live on Instagram after scoring against St. Etienne. The host have no injury issues so they will enter this match with just one thought, to win it and maintain the pressure on Lyon. On the other side, Nice are not traveling well. They are winless in their previous 8 matches on the road losing 5 in the process and scoring just 3 goals. We expect a clear home win and at least 2 goals in the match.

Best tip for the match: Marseille to win and over 1.5 goals in the match at 1.91 with Coral

Dijon vs Reims

Saturday, March 9, Stade Gaston Gerard

Dijon have been the biggest casualty form wise in Ligue 1 losing their last 5 domestic league matches and failing to score in 4 of them. They will probably go down if they continue to lose matches as they are 5 points behind the 1st salvation spot. On the other side, Reims are one of the surprise packages of the season, sitting 6th in the standings with 42 points earned in 27 rounds, 2 points behind the 1st European spot occupied by Marseille. They are unbeaten in their last 11 Ligue 1 matches and we expect them to extend this beautiful run of form and add 3 more points to their tally winning by winning their clash against a poor Dijon side.

Best tip for the match: Reims to win with DNB at 1.87 with Bet365
