Difficult to expect anything other than a Barcelona win in the 1st leg

Despite entering this match on the back of a 2-1 defeat last week to Wolves, Manchester United are enjoying a great period under their new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who’s doing an amazing job with at his new club. The host pulled-off one of the biggest upsets in the Champions League history overturning a 2-0 home deficit and beating Paris Saint-Germain on the road 3-1 to book their quarter finals tickets. On the other side, Barcelona destroyed Lyon beating them 5-1 on aggregate to qualify further in the competition.

Lionel Messi is enjoying another superb season for his club scoring 43 goals and delivering 21 assists in 40 matches across all competition. He is on fire. He netted 13 goals in his last 10 games and we expect him to contribute on the scoreboard and help Barcelona to beat United on the road. He’s priced at 2.02 with Unibet to be anytime goalscorer, beautiful set of odds for such an outcome.

[/]{"component": "embedHTML", "code": "

Can Manchester United keep Lionel Messi quiet? His stats this season:

👕 40 games
⚽️ 43 goals#UCL ;/a>
— UEFA Champions League (@ChampionsLeague) April 7, 2019
\n\n"}[/]

The visitors are 11 points clear at the top of the La Liga table with 7 rounds to go till the end of the season, so now they can focus more in winning the UCL trophy as they already wrapped up their domestic league title race. United will have a mountain to climb in this tie. The host are expected to have a defensive approach like they always have against possession-based teams and try to strike on the break with Rashford, Lingard and Martial having the necessary speed and skills for such an approach.

Paul Pogba will be back after serving a one-match ban due to a red card from the 1st leg against PSG. United will be without Matteo Darmian, Eric Bailly, Antonio Valencia and Alexis Sanchez, all ruled-out due to injuries. On the other side, Luis Suarez is expected to return after an ankle injury while Ousmane Dembele is doubtful as he’s still fighting to be 100% fit following a hamstring injury.

We expect a thrilling match with Barcelona imposing their rhythm and having the possession and with Man United trying to strike on the break. Barcelona should have enough to win the 1st leg and solve the qualification issue.

Best tip for the match: Barcelona to win at 2.05 with Bet365.
