Premier League fans can rejoice as there are a number of exciting games to look forward to throughout the week and there is plenty of value on offer for punters.

Watford v Fulham

The Cottagers will be relegated if they lose to Watford at Vicarage Road on Tuesday night. They have suffered six consecutive defeats and they find themselves 16 points adrift of safety, so they are going back down with a whimper. It just goes to show that you cannot buy your way to safety, as Fulham spent a fortune in the summer but clearly bought the wrong type of players. Their defence has been horrendously leaky all season, conceding 72 goals in 32 games, and Troy Deeney and co should be able to sweep them aside. Watford have beaten Leicester and Crystal Palace in their last two home games, and they should feel confident in their ability to beat this woeful Fulham side, so the 8/11 (1.73) on a home win at Betfred looks great.

Match tip: Watford win: 8/11 (1.73)

Wolves v Man Utd

Wolves beat Man Utd at Molineux a few weeks ago to knock them out of the FA Cup, so they should not fear the Red Devils on Tuesday. However, Nuno Espirito Santo’s side slumped to a 2-0 defeat away at Burnley on Saturday, which could leave them a little dejected. Man Utd battled to an unconvincing win against Watford at the weekend, and they will need to play better if they are to secure a top four finish this season. It is difficult to predict how well each team will respond to the quick turnaround between games, so it might be better to avoid the outrights and look at goals markets instead. It finished 2-1 when they met last month and both teams to score looks interesting once more at 10/11 (1.91) with Ladbrokes and Betfred. Man Utd have found the back of the net in 18 out of 20 games since Solskjaer took over, with only Arsenal and PSG denying them, and Wolves have scored in seven straight home games.

Match tip: Both teams to score 10/11 (1.91)

Tottenham v Crystal Palace

This will be Tottenham’s first game in their shiny new stadium and they will be desperate to put on a good show for their fans. They head into the game in miserable form, having taken just one point from a possible 15 in their last five games. That has seen them fall well behind the top two and sucked back into a real scrap for a top four place, so they need points. Crystal Palace are now eight points clear of relegation danger following their 2-0 win over Huddersfield at the weekend, and they should be safe for another season. They can therefore play with the shackles off in this game and Wilfried Zaha could give Tottenham’s full-backs – who lack pace – a torrid evening. Yet Spurs have a world class attack that can terrorise the Eagles’ backline and this represents a perfect opportunity to return to winning ways.

Match tip: Tottenham to win and over 1.5 goals 8/11 (1.73)

Southampton v Liverpool

It is always an interesting occasion when these teams meet, as Liverpool have treated Southampton like a feeder club in recent times. Virgil Van Dijk, Sadio Mane, Dejan Lovren, Adam Lallana, Nathaniel Clyne and Rickie Lambert have all moved from St Mary’s to Anfield, and returning players always receive a frosty reception. Yet Liverpool have an excellent record against the Saints and they have beaten them on their last three meetings. It finished 3-0 to the Reds at Anfield earlier this season, and they should be able to win again to boost their chances of pipping Man City to the title. Jurgen Klopp’s men have been grinding results out of late, with Mane and Van Dijk emerging as the stars of the show, and Liverpool to win and under 4.5 goals looks tempting at 4/5 (1.80) with Coral in this game.

Match tip: Liverpool to win and under 4.5 goals 4/5 (1.80) with Coral
