All the big teams are in action as the Premier League season nears its conclusion this coming weekend.

Liverpool v Huddersfield

Date: Friday, April 26, at 8pm

Venue: Anfield

The Reds now trail Premier League leaders Man City by one point and they each have three games left to play. It is imperative that Liverpool keep winning in order to maintain the pressure on Pep Guardiola’s men, and they should have little trouble vanquishing Huddersfield. The Terriers are heading back down to the Championship with a whimper as they have taken just 14 points from 35 games this season, leaving them well adrift at the bottom of the table. This is about as big a mismatch as you are ever likely to see in the Premier League. If Liverpool open up a two-goal lead, they are likely to take a foot off the pedal to preserve their energy for a huge upcoming Champions League game against Barcelona.

Tip: Liverpool win to nil at 8/13 (1.62) with Boyle Sports or Liverpool and under 4.5 goals at 4/5 (1.80) with Betway

Watford v Wolves

Date: Saturday, April 27, at 3pm

Venue: Vicarage Road

Watford, Wolves and Everton are locked in a three-way battle to clinch seventh place in the league. If Man City beat Watford in the FA Cup final, the team that finishes seventh will qualify for next season’s Europa League, so all three sides should be highly motivated. Yet Watford are likely to have one eye on the cup final, which will be their biggest game in decades. The Hornets have never won a major trophy, and they have not reached the FA Cup final since they lost 2-0 to Everton back in 1984. They can take encouragement from Man City’s shock defeat at the hands of Wigan a few years ago, so they will be massively focused on that game. This could play into Wolves’ hands. They returned to winning ways with a fine 3-1 victory over Arsenal on Wednesday and they have looked strong in front of goal recently. Both teams have scored in four of Wolves’ last five games, and in four of Watford’s last five games too, so we should be in for an entertaining contest here.

Tip: Both teams to score at 10/11 (1.91) with Ladbrokes

Burnley v Man City

Date: Sunday, April 28, at 2.05pm

Venue: Turf Moor

Man City now know that their destiny is in their own hands. If they beat Burnley, Leicester and Brighton they will become the first team since Man Utd a decade ago to successfully defend the Premier League title. Beat Watford at Wembley and they would wrap up a domestic treble, making it another fine season for Guardiola and co. They should be able to steamroller Burnley without too much trouble after beating them 5-0 at The Etihad earlier this season. The Clarets are now on 40 points and clear of relegation danger, so Man City will have greater motivation to win the game and they have a vastly superior group of players.

Tip: Raheem Sterling to score at any time at 10/11 (1.91) with Betfred

Man Utd v Chelsea

Date: Sunday, April 28, at 4.30pm

Venue: Old Trafford

Man Utd have lost five of their last six games and any optimism surrounding Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s managerial tender has vanished. They remain a club in crisis and they are suffering from low confidence, a lack of invention going forwards and a lack of discipline at the back. They were second best by a considerable margin when losing 2-0 to Man City in midweek and they lost 4-0 to Everton in their previous match. Chelsea have improved in recent weeks and they recently leapfrogged Arsenal to return to the top four. They disappointed in a 2-2 draw with Burnley last time out, but they have the players to frustrate Man Utd, while Eden Hazard will be dangerous.

Tip: Chelsea draw no bet at 10/11 (1.91) with Unibet and 97/100 (1.97) with Marathon Bet
