José Mourinho could be back in charge of Real Madrid sooner than expected. Sacked by Manchester United back in December, Mourinho is working for beIN Sports, a global network of sports channels owned and operated by beIN Media Group. Jose Mourinho's appointment is a matter of days, says Ramon Calderon, former president of Real Madrid. He says that Florentino Perez and the Special One have already prepared the details of the contract. According to Calderon, the decision to sack Solari has already been taken and Mourinho is to take over the team in an attempt to bring Los Blacos back to where they belong. He also declared that Mourinho, who coached Real Madrid between 2010 and 2013, winning La Liga in 2012, will sign a deal for the remainder of this season and for another three years, with a net salary of 17m euros per year.

The atmosphere in the dressing room is very bad. They lost 2 El Clasico matches on their turf failing to find the back of the net, they were knocked-out from the Champions League round of 16 after a shocking 4-1 defeat to Ajax in front of their fans. The bad performance and results have started to affect the players with captain Sergio Ramos and Marcelo getting into an altercation recently.

Sergio Ramos deliberately earned a yellow card in the UCL 1st leg against Ajax being convinced that they will easily qualify in the quarter finals after winning the away leg. That worked against him and his teammates. President Florentino Perez threatened to kick Sergio Ramos out of the club as the pair argued and the captain answered by telling Perez that the rest of his contract would need to be paid and he will gladly leave.

Defender Nacho said after the 4-1 win against Real Valladolid that the players' relationships with coach Santiago Solari have been affected by the recent results.

Florentino Perez is expected to meet with the board members on Monday, which could generate further news about Mourinho and his future as Real’s coach. There’s also one big problem, several Real Madrid stars, Sergio Ramos, Gareth Bale, Marcelo and Karim Benzema are reportedly against Mourinho and are expected to leave in the summer in case he signs with Los Blancos.
