Action takes place throughout this week in the Italian top flight and teams like Juventus and AC Milan are well priced for success.

AC Milan v Udinese

The hosts will bid to end a run of two straight defeats when they take on Udinese at the San Siro on Tuesday night. That looks like an achievable goal, as Igor Tudor’s men have been poor on the road this season. Udinese have just won win in 13 away games, with a pitiful haul of seven points. They are just three points above the relegation zone and fighting for their lives, which makes them dangerous opposition, and they beat Genoa 2-0 at the weekend. However, Milan have been strong at home this season, with nine wins from 15 games at the San Siro. It is time for Krzysztof Piątek to return to goal scoring form, and he has the ability to thrive against this leaky Udinese defence. AC Milan and under 4.5 goals looks attractive at 3/4 (1.75) with Ladbrokes.

Cagliari v Juventus

Juventus are 37/50 (1.74) with Marathon Bet to win this game and that looks like an amazing price. They returned to winning ways with a 1-0 victory over Empoli at the weekend and maintained their 15-point lead over Napoli at the top of the table. They do not play in the Champions League for another week, so there is no need for them to rest players for this clash, and it seems sensible to keep backing them until the title is a certainty. Cagliari are in good form, with three wins in their last four games, but Juventus beat them 3-1 earlier this season. That made it five wins in a row against Cagliari, who have not beaten Juve since January 2009. The visitors should be able to grind out another victory in this game.

Empoli v Napoli

Napoli will be full of confidence after battering Roma 4-1 at the weekend. They are in rampant form right now, with Dries Mertens and Arkadiusz Milik on fire up front, and they have banged in eight goals in their last two games. That could spell bad news for 18th placed Empoli, who are in real danger of going down after relegation rivals Bologna won three games on the bounce. Empoli have had a tough run of games, and they lost to Juventus, Roma and AC Milan in their last five matches. They are unlikely to contain this in-form Napoli attack for too long on Wednesday and Napoli -1 Asian handicap is 8/11 (1.73) with 888 Sport and Unibet.

Atalanta v Bologna

Atalanta are the joint top scorers in Serie A along with Juventus. However, they have conceded more than twice as many goals as Juve, so they are not fighting for the title. Yet it means they are typically involved in open, entertaining games and that makes them a delightful team for neutrals to watch. A both teams to score bet has paid off in 62% of their games so far this season and it looks like a good option in this game at 4/5 with Bet365 . Bologna have enjoyed a remarkable upturn in form, beating Cagliari 2-0, Torino 3-2 and Sassuolo 2-1 in their last three games. That has seen them climb out of the relegation zone and open up a two-point gap Empoli. They have scored in four games on the bounce and the last team to shut them out was Juventus, so they should be able to find the back of the net against Atalanta’s leaky defence. Atalanta have 12 goals in their last five games, and they have scored and conceded on each occasion.
