With just two rounds of games being played before the start of the International break, it may have felt like a bit of a false start for the teams in Serie A. Now though, we can get back to business as usual with another round of games in Italy’s top league and I’ve managed to pick out a few value bets for you.

https://youtu.be/UJZdOfZDmkA

Two games take place on Saturday night with league leaders Juventus kicking off the early game against mid-table Chievo. Juve look strong again for another championship win and this game against Chievo should see them pick up another 3 points. The bookies seem to think so too and there is nothing of any value in the match odds market. I have identified what I consider to be value in the “win to nil” market where you can get 1.7 on Juventus with BetVictor.

The next game for Saturday is the Sampdoria v AS Roma game. I think Roma will win this but I’m not fully sold on them this season. I need to see more before I comment on their chances in the league or in the Champions League.

Inter Milan welcome Spal to the San Siro in Sunday’s early game. Spal may be up in 7th after their first two games but I can’t see them being anywhere close to that come the end of the season. This will be a tough match against a good Inter Milan side, it’s just unfortunate that the odds on the home win re so low. Nothing for me here.

There are a whole raft of matches kicking off at the same time on Sunday but only two interest me.

The first is the match between Hellas Verona and the league bottom club, Fiorentina. I’m backing Fiorentina to pick up a valuable away win here and the odds are definitely with me. Pinnacle are offering 2.28 for the Viola to win this one and I’m taking that. This isn’t a brilliant Fiorentina side but there is promise in the ranks and value in that bet.

My next selection is again on the away side, this time it’s on the other side from Milan (AC Milan) in their game against Lazio. This should be a cracking game as both are good sides with attacking talent. The odds for an away win are excellent with Pinnacle and BetVictor both offering odds of around 3. Milan have invested heavily this summer and this is the kind of game they have to win if they are going to make a mark on the league.

So, not many bets in Serie A this weekend but, I hope you agree, they are good ones.
