Gunners well priced for an away win here...

Sheff Utd vs Arsenal

Monday, October 21, at Bramall Lane

Arsenal face a stern test of their mettle when they head up north for a Premier League clash with newly promoted Sheff Utd on Monday night. The Blades have made a strong start to life in the top flight and they sit 13th in the table after securing two wins and three draws from their opening eight games. They have only conceded seven goals in that time, but they have also scored just seven and their lack of prowess in front of goal might concern Sheff Utd fans. Yet Arsenal will have to be patient and dogged if they are to leave with all three points in this match.

Team News

It might be time for Arsenal to introduce Hector Bellerin and Kieran Tierney into the starting 11 now that they have had an extra two weeks’ rest during the international break. The flying wing-backs should now have recovered from injury and they will be keen to usurp Callum Chambers and Sead Kolasinac in the team. Alexandre Lacazette has been out with a ankle injury, but he could be in contention to return for this match. Yet Emery will probably go for Bukayo Saka and Nicolas Pepe either side of free-scoring Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang up front.

Sheff Utd strikers Oliver McBurnie and David McGoldrick have been nursing injuries, which has hampered their sharpness in attack. Callum Robinson offers another option up front, and club captain Billy Sharp is now back from suspension. Phil Jagielka cannot get into the team, and manager Chris Wilder has recently favoured a back three consisting of Jack O’Connell, John Egan and Chris Basham, while John Lundstram has impressed in midfield.

Betting Analysis

Sheff Utd have only lost three out of eight games so far this season, and this defence is a tough nut to crack. However, Arsenal have shown they can grind out victories when they have to. They battled to a 1-0 win over Newcastle on the opening day of the season, and they beat free-scoring Bournemouth in their last match. Some fans have grown frustrated with perceived negative tactics from Unai Emery, but Arsenal are in third place and it has worked for them so far. In Aubameyang they have a striker clinical enough to win a tight game and they look well priced to take three points in this one.

Tip: Arsenal to win at 1.95 (19/20) with 10Bet
