Away wins in Champions League, high-scoring affairs in Europa League

Champions League Treble

Total Odds: 2.68
Best Odds: Bet365

Olympiacos vs Bayern Munich – Bayern to win at 1.4

Bayern Munich dominated the entire match against the relegation threatened Augsburg but somehow managed to concede a goal in the injury time being kept to a 2-2 draw on the road. Lewandowski scored for the 8th consecutive Bundesliga match and he is one of the most in-form striker in Europe. On the other side, Olympiacos are unbeaten in their domestic league, leading the standings with 19 points from 21 possible. The hosts will be without 1 of their key players, Mathieu Valbuena (injured) while Mady Camara, Pape Abou Cisse and Konstantinos Tsimikas are all doubtful. Bayern Munich are in superb form in Champions League this season and we expect them to add 3 more points to their tally.

Slavia Prague vs Barcelona – Barcelona to win at 1.45

Barcelona are finally starting their engines. They enter this match on the back of 5 consecutive win across all competitions in which they kept 3 clean sheets. Their attacking trio (Messi, Suarez and Griezmann) have all scored last weekend in the 3-0 away victory against Eibar. Barcelona will play Slavia Prague 2 times in 2 weeks and they should have the necessary weapons to add 6 points to their group tally and secure 1st spot in the group standings. Slavia are not a bad side but against a 5-star side like Barcelona, we don’t expect them to pull off the upset.

Genk vs Liverpool – Liverpool to win at 1.32

We all expected Liverpool to punish Manchester United last weekend and beat them on the road. But the Red Devils, despite their huge injury issues, somehow managed to keep the leaders to a 1-1 draw. That’s not the end of the world for Liverpool but that was their 1st time they dropped points this season in the Premier League. Mo Salah missed the clash as he continues to recover from the ankle injury he sustained before the international break but Jurgen Klopp declared that could be back in contention for Wednesday's Champions League clash with Genk. On the other side, Genk enter this match on the back of a 1-0 defeat on the road to Standard Liege. More than that, one of their most important players, Ianis Hagi, got injured and he will miss this match. Liverpool are 3rd in the standings after 2 rounds and they can’t afford to drop points.

Europa League Treble

Total Odds: 3.39
Best Odds: Unibet

Ludogorets vs Espanyol – Both teams to score at 1.66

Ludogorets are leading the standings in this group and as predicted last round they destroyed Ferencvaros beating them 3-0 on the road, revenging the after getting knocked-out of the Champions League qualifiers. On the other side, after some bad results in this season in their domestic league, Espanyol decided to sack David Gallego and replace him with Pablo Machin who played his 1st match for his new club last weekend. Unfortunately, it was another lose, but we’ve seen many signs of improvement. In Europa League the Spanish side are sitting 2nd in the standings and they to travel to play leaders Ludogorets. We don’t expect them to win this one, but we believe they will contribute on the scoreboard.

Getafe vs Basel – Over 1.5 goals in the match at 1.3

This is one of the matches to follow this round in Europa League. 1st and 2nd-placed in the group, Getafe and Basel respectively, meet each other is what should be a goal-fest. They produced over 2.5 goals in the match in 31 of their previous 33 matches across all competitions and both matches in their Europa League group ended with at least 4 goals scored. On the other side, Getafe, of the surprise packages last season in the Spanish top-flight league are enjoying another great season across all competitions. They won both Europa League matches, leading the standings with 6 points but they will have a tough match against Basel, an attacking side who enter every single match determined to win it. We expect at least 2 goals in this match.

PSV vs LASK Linz – Over 2.5 goals in the match at 1.57

Another interesting team to follow this season in Europa League is LASK Linz. After pulling off the upset by knocking-out Basel from the Champions League qualifiers, they earned a Europa League position. And they are not doing bad at all. After a well-deserved victory against Rosenborg, they lost 2-1 in Portugal against Sporting but not without giving everything on the pitch. On the other side, as always, PSV are scoring goals for fun. They shockingly lost 3-0 on the road to Utrecht but that result is a lie. They received 2 red cards in the 2nd half and they rested some of their key players. We expect another high-scoring affair between 2 great attacking teams.
