AFC Fylde, Barnet and Borehamwood to shine over festive period

AFC Fylde v Stockport

Saturday 28th December, National League

AFC Fylde under new management have been on a good recent run of form and after a 2-2 home draw with promotion chasing Yeovil, AFC Fylde will be looking to have a good festive period which includes a home win over Stockport.

AFC Fylde know they need a good run of wins to have any chance of making the play-offs and it’s beating teams above them like Stockport which will help them. With striker Danny Rowe back scoring again, they have a proven goalscorer at this level, who only needs one chance to score.

The visitors won 5-1 at Torquay recently and come into this in a mixed bag of form. They had a huge blip earlier on in the season, then went on a good run of form towards end of November. This team needs to show consistency if they are going to get a play-off spot, but I fancy Fylde to get all three points here.

Tip for the match: AFC Fylde to beat Stockport at 1.91 (10/11) with Bet365

Borehamwood v Eastleigh

Saturday 28th December, National League

Borehamwood have hit a nice run of form recently and having one of the best strikers in the League on your side, this has propelled the Hertfordshire team into a play-off position. With the luxury of a great pitch, they can get the ball down and cause teams a lot of problems with their football.

Their last two home matches in the League have seen wins over Woking and Harrogate. This bodes well for the visit of mid table Eastleigh as the Borehamwood side can grab all three points and maintain a position in the play-offs over the festive period.

Kabongo Tshimanga is the man in form right now and expect him to lead Borehamwood to a home win on Saturday. The man from Congo has scored 10 league goals so far this season and will look to add to his tally over the busy festive period.

Tip for the match: Borehamwood to beat Eastleigh at 1.83 (5/6) with Ladbrokes

Aldershot v Barnet

Saturday 28th December, National League

Barnet are another side hitting a good vein of form as we hit the festive period. After a 4-1 away win at Maidenhead, The Bees will fancy another away win as they had to struggling Aldershot. Barnet’s home form has been good of late with wins over AFC Fylde and Ebsbsfleet United and this recent away win has given the side hope that they can push for a play-off place.

The home side continue to struggle after a lifeline at the end of las season when they should have been relegated. They did stop their recent bad run of form with a win over Stockport County, but Barnet are a step up from them and can provide a stern test.

Our pick is Barnet to take all three points and take all three points back to The Hive. The Bees of Barnet can take this as a stepping stone for a good 2020.

Tip for the match: Barnet to beat Aldershot at 2.6 (8/5) with Bet365
