They began their campaign with a 4-4 draw against Granada, and they have scored in every game since. They have conceded 10 goals in six games and they have been involved in some pulsating matches. Real Betis are also an attacking team that like to throw caution to the wind, so we should be in for an entertaining clash between these teams on Friday.

Team News

Villarreal will be disappointed to lose 2-1 away at Barcelona on Tuesday, but they still gave a good account of themselves. Santi Cazorla has been superb at the heart of the midfield, and Gerardo Moreno has scored five goals in six games. Moi Gomez, Samuel Chukwueze and Javier Ontiveros are all dangerous and that has helped Villarreal bang in more than two goals per game. Raul Albiol is a solid defender, but they still concede regularly.

Borja Iglesias scored his first goal for Betis in their 3-1 win over Levante in midweek, but strike partner Loren Moron has claimed most of the headlines. He hit a brace against Levante to take his tally for the season to five, at a rate of one every 68 minutes. Nabil Fekir missed that game with injury, but Betis still boast plenty of creativity from the likes of Mexican midfielder Andres Guardado, Sergio Canales and the veteran Joaquin. Yet they too concede plenty of goals – 10 in six games, to be precise.

Betting Analysis

The last four meetings between these sides have seen both teams score and over 2.5 goals. Villarreal have beaten Betis 2-1 and 3-1 in their last two meetings at El Madrigal, and Betis beat Villarreal 2-1 on both of their last games at Estadio Benito Villamarín. Both sides have looked strong going forwards and shaky at the back this season, and we should therefore be in for an open game on Friday.

Tip: Both teams to score and over 2.5 goals at 2.0 (evens) with Boyle Sports
