Chisnall and Durrant to come through their 2nd round matches in style

Dave Chisnall v Mervyn King

23rd November, Afternoon

Dave Chisnall continued his fine form from last week with a comfortable first round victory in the Players Championship. He now faces Mervyn King who in an experienced professional, but should not be able to compete with Chisnall.

Chisnall is brimming with confidence and scoring well and his % check outs are generally one of the best in darts at the minute. He hit 5 180s in the first round and was always in control of the match against Edgar. Now it’s King up next and we’re putting up Chinall -1.5legs to win on the handicap.

Top Tip: Dave Chisnall (-1.5legs) on handicap spread to beat Mervyn King at 1.8 (4/5) with Unibet

Glen Durrant v Max Hopp

23rd November, Afternoon

Another player to take good form from last weeks tournament into this week is Glen Durrant. After qualifying from his group and playing some top darts, Durrant easily disposed of Baker yesterday afternoon. With a good 3 dart average and 60% finishing in check outs, Durrant can go far in this tournement.

Durrant faces Hopp, who is a real up and coming player who is one to look out for in the future. The German star beat Klaasen in the first round 6 legs to 3, however scored a lower average than Durrant and his check out % was less as well.

Hopp will have to up his game to compete with Durrant, however it’s the Englishman who should come out on top in this match up and we’re playing the handicap in legs on this match with Glen Durrant -1.5 legs to beat Hopp.

Top Tip: Glen Durrant (-1.5 legs) to beat Max Hopp at 1.8 (4/5) with Unibet

2nd Round Acca

23rd November, Afternoon

Our 2nd round ‘Acca’ for the afternoon matches starts with Gerwyn Price to beat Keegan Brown. Price, who won last weeks Grand Slam of darts tournament and came through a tricky banana skin match in the 1st round, but being in red hot form is well fancied to progress through to the next round.

Next up is James Wade to beat Ricky Evans. Wade was part of our top picks to win on the handicap in round one and this delivered as he beat Evetts 6-4 to cover the 1.5 in legs.

Finally, we’re going for Michael Smith to beat Brendan Dolan. This has the potential to be close, however the class and consistency of Smith should come through this match up.

Top Tip: Gerwyn Price, James Wade & Michael Smith all to win their 2nd round matches at 2.5 (6/4) with Betfair
