Let’s try and formulate a tasty looking parlay for this weekend’s UFC Fight Night event in Prague.

Damir Ismagulov vs Joel Alverez

In the first fight of the night live on the UFC Fight Pass, lightweights Damir Ismagulov and Joel Alverez kick off the preliminary bouts.

Damir is 17-2 former M1 world champion currently riding a 12 fight win streak (1-0 UFC). His opposition Alverez is also on a win streak holding the record 15-1 winning majority of his fights via submission. The difference between these two fighters is level of experience and skill. Joel holds an impressive record but has faced much lower level competition of fighter.

Far superior in the wrestling department and striking, I predict Damir will dictate where this fight will take place be it stood or on the ground. He has the cardio to keep up the pace throughout all three rounds and could potentially win this fight with a stoppage depending on Joels level of durability amongst the elite of the UFC roster. Un-Tested and still very green in high level bouts, Joel Alverez should probably be priced at a better underdog price than what’s currently available.

With a price looking so cheap here, Damir Ismagulov at 1.37 - 37/100 with Bet365 seems like an ideal candidate for the first piece of the parlay/accumulator.

Magomed Ankalaev vs Kildson Farias de Abreu

10-1 Light Heavyweight Magomed Ankalaev has looked flawless in the majority of his fights, including his only loss. With just a second left in the final round of a fight he was winning on the scorecards , Magomed tapped out to a triangle hold giving his opponent the win. Most of the greats have a loss on their record and use it as a learning curve, I believe Ankalaev will take a lot away from his one unfortunate loss and come back with a bang.

Magomeds odds should probably be higher, I can’t visualize him making the same mistake twice after looking so impressive in all of his professional bouts. The Russian native much like his counterparts can wrestle and strike with brutal force. Inside a weight division that doesn’t have buckets of talent, Ankaleav does look like he could be a future contender in the Light Heavyweight top 10 rankings.

Making his UFC debut on short notice, The Brazilian Kildso Farias has tough test ahead of him in Prague. Tons of victories via submission might not be enough against the Russian force in Magomed Ankalaev. The limited footage that is available for Klidsons career highlights is lacklustre. Magomeds one loss against Paul Craig was a glitch in the system and I expect him to come out in Prague and dominate his opponent.

Magomed being under-priced like this gives us another parlay/accumulator opportunity, betting the money line in these positions would be great but the return of investment on lines/odds below 1.70 don’t hold much value in such a risky sport.

Magomed Ankalaev at 1.49 with Ladbrokes combined with Ismagulov will give the accumulator above evens odds now having the opportunity to double our money.

Punching Parlay

* Damir Ismagulov at 1.37 - 37/100 with Bet365

* Magomed Ankalaev at 1.49 – 49/100 with Ladbrokes

Stake: 100

Returns: 204.13

Profit: 104.13

When is UFC Fight Night 145? Saturday 23rd February, 2019 - 17:30 start (UK)

Where is UFC Fight Night 145? O2 Arena, Prague, Czech Republic

What channel is UFC Fight Night 145 on? BT Sport 2 (UK) & ESPN+ (US)
