Smith to ease into the semi-final while Chisnall and Wright expected to deliver a classic

Grand Slam of Darts

9th-17th November 2019

Dave Chisnall v Peter Wright

15th November 2019

Dave Chisnall continues to impress in this tournament and it won’t be long before he lands a major tournament. Brimming with confidence Chisnall easily disposed of Ryan Harrington in round of 16 and now faces another inform player in Peter Wright.

Wright threw fantastic darts as he comfortably beat Rob Cross, who couldn’t keep up with the high scoring of Wright plus he punished Cross who let slip a few legs with poor finishing.

There isn’t a lot between these two inform players, so the bet for this one is to go over the total legs in the match and this can go all the way.

Top Tip: Total Legs in the match over 28.5 at 2.38 (11/8) with SkyBet

Michael Smith v Glen Durrant

15th November 2019

Michael Smith came through a good match against Daryl Gurney who couldn’t keep up with the high scoring of Smith and Smith held his nerve at the end of the match to take the key legs and progress to the quarter finals.

Smith has found good form of late and his experience and class of going deep in major competitions will have the edge over Glen Durrant.

Durrant was always behind in his match v Clemens, but managed to win the final leg of the match to steal the match 10-9. Durrant can’t afford to start the match like he did against Clemens or Smith will run away with the game.

The difference in class in this match is clear to see and Smith can look forward to a semi-final place after cruising to a victory against Durrant.

Top Tip: Michael Smith (-1.5 legs) to beat Glen Durrant at 2.2 (6/5) with SkyBet

Michael van Gerwen v Adrian Lewis

15th November 2019

Adrian Lewis came through a tough match against James Wade by winning a final leg decider. Neither player played great darts so facing world number 1 in Michael van Gerwen will not be something that they are going to be excited about.

It will be tough for Lewis to stick with van Gerwen in this match up given Lewis isn’t in great form, but if he can score a good number of 180’s this could keep in in the match for longer than most expect.

Michael van Gerwen did enough to beat Ian White. He was given a little scare in the early part of the match, but as the match went on, van Gerwen showed his true class as finished the match in style.

For this match up van Gerwen is heavy odds on to win so the bet we’re looking to play here is van Gerwen to win the match, have most 180s and highest check out.

Top Tip: Michael van Gerwen to beat Adrian Lewis and have most 180s and highest check out at 2.75 (7/4) with SkyBet
