So the Hurricanes, second placed finishers in the New Zealand conference, and a fine team themselves, face a formidable task. They reached the play offs by beating the Chiefs 32-31 having led by 15 points with ten minutes to go. The Crusaders beat the Hurricanes at home by 15 points in week 15 Earlier in the season the Hurricanes beat the Crusaders by 10 points in Wellington</p><p>You simply have to favour the Crusaders -6 at 10/11 here.</p><p> </p><h2>2.05pm Lions v Waratahs</h2><p>The Lions, losing finalists last season, reached another semi final by beating the Jaguares 40-23 and as number two seeds entering the play offs are back in Johannesburg for the semi finals. The Waratahs are the surprise team in the semi-finals. They were 23-6 down at home to the Highlanders but scored 24 unanswered second half points to win 30-23.
