Michael van Gerwen looks unstoppable in the Premier League as he hopes to make it three wins in a row.

Next up to face the Dutchman is Rob Cross, who will look to inflict a first defeat on the reigning champion. Elsewhere there are two interesting match ups as James Wade faces Gerwyn Price and Michael Smith is up against Daryl Gurney. In the final match of the night, Raymond van Barneveld will look to follow up last week’s draw and defeat Mensur Suljovic. We have a few tips to make some profit from Week 3 of the Premier League.

Premier League Darts Week 3

Gerwyn Price 7/5 (2.40) Ladbrokes

Draw 10/3 (4.33) Bet365

James Wade 6/4 (2.50) 888Sport

Preview and Top Tip

There isn’t much between these two players and we feel there is value in backing the draw here. Out of the five matches last week in the Premier League, we saw two draws. As we enter Week 3, there is a good chance of repeating the number of tied matches. James Wade won 7-4 against Barneveld in Week 1 then suffered a loss in Week 2 by the same score to Rob Cross. Wade will look to bounce back from this loss against Price, although Price is playing good darts so will be tough to crack. Undefeated so far in the Premier League, Price beat Gurney 7-4 in Week 1, then let slip a big lead last week to Barneveld, so will look to put in a good display to open up Week 3. A 6-6 draw is our play for this match.

Best Bet:

Gerwyn Price to draw with James Wade 10/3 (4.33) Bet365

Mensur Suljovic 10/11 (1.91) BetVictor

Draw 7/2 (4.50) Bet365

Raymond van Barneveld 13/5 (3.60) Betfair

Preview and Top Tip

Raymond van Barneveld has huge support in the UK and came back from the brink of defeat last week to rescue a draw against Gerwyn Price. This performance can lift Barneveld as he faces Suljovic in the final match of the night in Week 3. Both players have a defeat and a draw so far in the Premier League and at 7/2 (4.5), we’re putting up another draw as the value play here. Both players can’t be trusted to get the job done and are likely to be in the bottom half of the Premier League at the end. Suljovic is the better player, but the crowd can lift Barneveld to put in another fighting display and take a draw in this match.

Best Bet

Mensur Suljovic to draw with Raymond van Barneveld 7/2 (4.5) Bet365

Michael Smith 11/10 (2.10) BoyleSports

Draw 10/3 (4.44) Bet365

Daryl Gurney 2/1 (3.0) William Hill

Preview and Top Tip

Last year’s runner up Michael Smith has yet to get off the mark with a win in the Premier League in 2019. After defeat to Michael van Gerwen, Smith drew 6-6 with Peter Wright. Next up is the improving Daryl Gurney who recorded a good 7-3 win last week against Durrant. Both these players have the potential to put on a good show, but we feel they will cancel each other out and the match will be a 6-6 draw. Gurney will be feeling confident after his win last week, however Smith is in need of a win as he doesn’t want to fall too far behind the leaders as he looks to keep tracks with Van Gerwen. The draw is the play here, as these two top players can’t be split.

Best Bet

Michael Smith to draw with Daryl Gurney 10/3 (4.33) Bet365
