Price to take crucial win in Week 12 of the Premier League of darts

We had two winners last week in the Premier League of darts. First up was in-form Rob Cross defeating Peter Wright and then tipping up the draw at 7/2 (4.5) between Wade and Gurney. This week the top match is between Cross and van Gerwen which could well be the match which decides the Premier League trophy at Finals night in May. Four players sit on twelve points in the table, so for Wade, Price, Suljovic and Gurney this week’s matches are important to move ahead.

See our preview below with top tips to make some profit.

Premier League Darts Week 12 – Venue – Cardiff

Michael Smith 13/10 (2.3) Betfair

Draw 15/4 (4.75) SkyBet

Gerwyn Price 8/5 (2.6) Betfred

Preview and Top Tip

Michael Smith has one win in five matches and sits at the foot of the table. It’s a must win for Smith if he wants to make Finals night in May. We’re surprised Smith is favourite in this match up as Price is in much better form in the Premier League with two wins in his last three matches and this included a creditable draw with van Gerwen. Last week Price defeated Suljovic 8-5, which will maintain his good confidence. Our top tip for this match is Price to win and maintain a top four position in the Premier League of darts table.

Best Bet

Gerwyn Price to beat Michael Smith 8/5 (2.5) Betfred

Rob Cross 7/2 (4.5) SkyBet

Draw 9/2 (5.5) Bet365

Michael van Gerwen 4/7 (1.57) Ladbrokes

Preview and Top Tip

This match could well be the Final of the Premier League of darts as Rob Cross currently sits top of the table with Michael van Gerwen in second. These two players are clear of third place and in prime position to reach the semi-finals. Rob Cross has been in top form of late and has four wins out of his last five matches and not only scoring well, but finishing his doubles too. Michael van Gerwen has been playing well, without hitting his top form. We have one tip for this match as well as an outright bet for the Tournament Winner as we enter week 12. For this match, we’re taking Rob Cross +2.5 legs on handicap at 4/5 (1.8). This match should be very close and Cross has a good shout of taking a point or even winning.

We’re also advising a bet on the outright winner and picking Rob Cross at 5/1 (6.0). With Cross looking destined for Finals night and a top two finish there is value on playing an each-way bet here.

Best Bet

Rob Cross +2.5 legs on handicap at 4/5 (1.8) Ladbrokes

Tournament Winner

Rob Cross 5/1 (6.0) Each Way 1/3 the odds 1-2

Peter Wright 8/5 (2.6) Betfair

Draw 4/1 (5.0) Bet365

James Wade 11/8 (2.38) SkyBet

Preview and Top Tip

Last week we had a top tip of the draw between James Wade and Daryl Gurney at 7/2 (4.5) which won. This week there is significant value in the draw between Wright and Wade. Wade has drawn three of his last five matches in the Premier League of darts and when these two met earlier in the season, the match ended in a draw. Looking at Peter Wright he is the draw specialist with five of his eleven matches finishing as a draw. Although he hasn’t won in five matches, drawing two in the process, he can keep the match close against Wade and take a 7-7 draw.

Best Bet

Peter Wright to draw with James Wade 4/1 (5.0) Bet365
