Price & Cross to win as Gurney draws key match in Week16

We secured one winner last week as Rob cross overcame Mensur Suljovic to maintain top spot in the Premier League of darts. One more win this week and Cross will finish top ahead of Finals night next week. In the match of the night Cross hosts Wade in a match which will not only determine who finishes top of the league but will decide who qualifies for the semi-final. In other matches, Price will fancy his chances to put pressure on Wade as he faces Wright, and Gurney will be confident of a win as he faces Smith who can’t qualify for the semi-finals. In the other match Michael van Gerwen will want to win if Cross doesn’t as he faces Mensur Suljovic who knows a win will guarantee a semi-final spot. It all comes down to this week!

See our preview below with top tips to make some profit.

Premier League Darts Week 16 – Venue – Leeds

Gerwyn Price 13/10 (2.3) Ladbrokes

Draw 15/4 (4.75) Bet365

Peter Wright 6/4 (2.5) Betfair

Preview and Top Tip

This is our most confident tip of the week as Gerwyn Price hosts Peter Wright. Wright won’t remember what a win feels like as it’s been ages. He sits bottom of the League with only two wins out of fifteen matches. With nothing to play for Wright may up his game, but with Price knowing a win could secure a semi-final place, we expect Price to up his game that little bit extra and take a win here. Price isn’t in top form, but two wins and two draws in his last five matches isn’t a bad return. A win for Price at 13/10 (2.3) is a bit of value we feel so start the night with a win for Price.

Best Bet: Gerwyn Price to beat Peter Wright 13/10 (2.3) Bet365

Daryl Gurney 7/5 (2.4) Betfair

Draw 15/4 (4.75) Bet365

Michael Smith 6/4 (2.5) Bet365

Preview and Top Tip

Daryl Gurney sits in fifth position and knows a win could secure him a semi-final place as Suljovic who sits one place above him faces van Gerwen. As Michael Smith showed last week, even though he is eliminated from the competition he can still put in a top performance as he drew with James Wade. Smith also drew with Suljovic recently and with Gurney in similar ranking to these players, we feel the value is the draw price at 15/4 (4.75). Gurney isn’t in top form and the pressure of knowing a win is needed, this may play into Smith’s hands. For these reason’s we’re putting up the draw in this match up.

Best Bet

Daryl Gurney to draw with Michael Smith 15/4 (4.75) Betfair

James Wade 2/1 (3.0) Bet365

Draw 15/4 (4.75) Bet365

Rob Cross Evens (2.0) Ladbrokes

Preview and Top Tip

This is the best match of the night. Cross may need a win here to secure top spot (with van Gerwen having beaten Suljovic) and for Wade, he may need to win this to secure a semi-finals slot. Either way we feel Rob Cross is playing superb darts and with high scoring and a good percentage of checkouts of late, he will win and guarantee top spot in the Premier League of darts and face fourth spot in the League in the semi-finals. After beating Michael Smith 8-1 in legs, Cross followed this up by an 8-4 victory over Mensur Suljovic. Cross firmly has his eye on top spot and at Evens (2.0) we feel he can deliver.

Best Bet:

Rob Cross to beat James Wade Evens (2.0) Ladbrokes
