New Zealand to power to World Cup glory

Rugby World Cup 2019

New Zealand have won back to back World Cups and are strong favourites at 2.38 (11/8) with William Hill to make it three wins in a row. With the tournament being held in Japan, I believe the altitude will favour the southern hemisphere teams.

Seven out of the eight Rugby World Cups have been won by southern hemisphere teams and we don’t see this changing in 2019.

South Africa 5.5 (9/2) with BetVictor, two time World Cup winners will fancy their chances of going deep in the tournament with the physical approach and resilient style of play. Being clinical in the final third will be the key to them lifting the trophy in 2019.

England 5.5 (9/2) with Unibet, Wales 11.0 (10/1) with Betfair and Ireland 11.0 (10/1) with SkyBet will all be looking to qualify for the quarter-final stage and then from the knock out stages, it’s a case of a faultless performance against stronger opposition to have a chance of causing a shock and navigating their way through to the final.

Rugby World Cup 2019 – Outright

New Zealand are number one team in the world and with conditions to suit, they have a supreme squad which can take The All Blacks to another World Cup title and three wins in a row.

With Beauden Barrett leading the team, they have an all-star player who knows how to play in big games and lead his team to victory. He is a class act with great skill and his teammates follow his example.

Steve Hansen is a ruthless Coach and his leadership will be key to New Zealand landing another World Cup trophy. He has the full respect of his players and they will meet the demands he puts on them, especially in the later stages.

Ben Smith is another top player who will be influential during the World Cup and up front Kieran Read and Brodie Retallick will have a big tournament.

The group stages will be comfortable for New Zealand though a match up against South Africa will decide who wins the group and The All Blacks will know that this is key to them having a smoother ride to the final.

With Italy, Canada and Namibia also in their group, they will not be over stretched and have plenty in the tank as they will likely face Ireland and Wales before the final.

New Zealand are our strong fancy to win the Rugby World Cup for a fourth time and three successive wins in a row.

Rugby World Cup Outright – Top Tip

New Zealand to win the World Cup at 2.5 (13/2) with Coral

Rugby World Cup – Name The Finalists

We’ve tipped up New Zealand to win the World Cup so who will they overcome in the final.

As detailed in the preview, the southern hemisphere teams are likely to shine in Japan and this leads to another top tip in the outright market.

South Africa are in great form and are the only real danger to New Zealand. They have power, pace, strong defence and a turn of pace in the backs to cause defences lots of problems.

New Zealand and South Africa played out a 16-16 draw in the lead up to the World Cup and this shows how closely matches both teams are.

Siya Kolisi is a strong leader for South Africa, Willie le Roux is a key player to set the game alight and Faf de Klerk is very skillful and will be so important in tight games when it will need a bit of magic to change a game.

South Africa will likely face Scotland and England on route to the Final and with superior class to both of these teams, our strongest bet of the tournament is for New Zealand and South Africa to face each other in the Final which will be a repeat of when they meet in the group stage.

Rugby World Cup Outright – Top Tip

Name The Finalists – New Zealand versus South Africa at 4.5 (7/2) with WilliamHill
