There are only two majors left on the DPC calendar so the fight for the final spot at the Paris Major is sure to be ruthless!

That is what will be happing in Split, Croatia this week. There are eight teams attending from all the corners of the globe to earn those coveted DPC points.

[/]{"component": "embedHTML", "code": "<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">πŸ“† April 22 will start OGA Dota PIT Minor 2019. In terms of potential and achievement on this circuit they are justifiably there. However the gap in form between them and the field is not so great and that is why we can find significantly different prices at some books. Bet365, for instance, has NiP at 3.75 to win the whole thing, while Pinnacle has a current price of 2.9. I think you would have to look at something over 3.5 to find value in taking a...gambit here. Ahem.

The team I am choosing to take a shot with is the CIS roster Gambit Gaming. They are a squad with a quality mix of experience and young talent. They have had a history of success against many of the other top teams in attendance. Most of all I like the price! Don't get me wrong, I do believe NiP has a higher skill-ceiling. However the problem with taking the Ninjas is they are priced as though they will play to their potential. If NiP and Gambit had their odds reversed with one another I would also play the opposite team!

Bet: Gambit @ 5.51 [Pinnacle]

Props:

top Chinese team = Ehome @ 2.17 [Pinnacle]

top European team = Alliance @ 3.0 [Pinnacle]

longest map = over 70:00 @ 1.83 [Bet365]

shortest map = over 19:00 @ 1.83 [Bet365]

highest GPM = under 900.5 @ 1.83 [Bet365]

most assists = under 33.5 @ 1.83 [Bet365]

most deaths = under 15.5 @ 1.83 [Bet365]

most kills = under 20.5 @ 1.83 [Bet365]

most last = hits under 810.5 @ 1.83 [Bet365]

One thing to keep in mind is that there has been a significant hiatus since we saw some of these teams perform. The meta is ever-evolving as is team's strongest heroes. As always I am fully prepared for some teams to be better or worse than expected! I'll be sharing my match wagers throughout the week – action starts Monday!
