The 2019 Women’s World Cup has arrived at the last 4, and the semi-finalists have their eyes on the prize.

We have arrived at the final four of the 2019 Women’s World Cup, and the trophy will be hoisted by whichever squad can muster up 2 more wins in France.

England, the United States, the Netherlands, and Sweden have their fans excited for the future, with history in the making for one of these four Nations.

Both semifinal matches will be taking place at Parc Olympique Lyonnais, Décines-Charpieu, with England vs. the USA kicking off on Tuesday at 15:00. The Netherlands and Sweden will square off at the same time on Wednesday and the two winners will remain in Lyon for the grande finale!

Enough now, because I need to rebound from my effort in the QF, and I apologize for that after such a stellar round of 16. Onwards is the only way to go, and I might surprise a few with these tips from the first match.

England vs USA

Tuesday, July 2, Parc Olympique in Lyon, France

I am about to suspect goals to be found in this match, despite the amazing numbers from both of these teams on the defensive side of the pitch. We all know that England has only allowed the single goal to Scotland thus far through 5 fixtures, which came way back when the group stage got underway.

Impressive as hell man, but none of that happened against the United States, and this is not Japan, Cameroon or Norway… This is the favorites to win the event, and Megan Rapinoe has taken over the world stage!

Now with 5 goals, Rapinoe is tied with teammate Alex Morgan and England’s Ellen White for the top-scorers spot in the tournament. Australia’s Miranda Kerr is tied with them, but she is obviously not going to be adding to her total.

Set pieces are going to cost the United States a goal, and you heard it here. Ellen White will finish a cross in the box and convert it into a goal to account for, at least, one of England’s goals.

Megan Rapinoe will likely bang one home as well, as her game has been on showcase basically carrying the team while Alex Morgan has spent a ton of time on the grass getting banged up constantly.

That points you to one bet, and you will cash it when you toss in the Both Teams to Score action, which is listed at a comfortable even money at most sites.

And for my second trick, I see that Over 2.5 listed at 2.15 as well, and that will happen around the hour mark when one of these two teams breaks the 1 - 1 deadlock. It probably won’t end 2 - 1 either, so buckle up for an unexpected scoring show that might be expected by many.

Tip (s):

Both Teams to Score at 2.00 with 888Sport

Over 2.5 Goals at 2.19 with Pinnacle

Netherlands vs Sweden

Wednesday, July 3, Parc Olympique in Lyon, France

I think it is safe to say that we can see the plan that the Netherlands is trying to implement, which makes me think Sweden’s coach, Peter Gerhardsson, knows what they are doing as well. The Netherlands wants to keep you chasing the ball for the first 45’, keep possession and make their opponents run around the pitch and wear themselves out.

The Dutch side did exactly that against Italy, and then they elevated their game to find 2 second-half goals to arrive in Lyon. Italy looked so frustrated chasing the ball, and talk about limiting chances? Italy barely looked at the frame, much less put anything towards it, against the Netherlands, and that was the plan all along.

The suspension of Fridolina Rolfö for Sweden is a certain concern, as she and Sofia Jakobsson are always ready to start a break down the wings. Stina Blackstenius and Jakobsson might be set in a 4 - 4 - 2 alignment up front, but we’ll see the plan when the starting lineups get announced, obviously.

Should we see a slow start to the first half like the Dutch might try to reproduce again, I see our opportunity to find a second half bet on the total to go over the 1,5 goals. I can see two European squads both scoring in the second half, and that could hold a ton of value at 2.70 as well.

Regardless, the Over 1.5 2nd Half line comes in at 2.35 with Bwin, so make that your play and think about a tease on that BTTS in the second stanza if you seek some extra action.

Tips:

2nd Half Over 1.5 Goals at 2.35 with BWin

Enjoy the Youtube show we put out on Monday and join me, Natalie and Whale for some more about these two matches.
