Noppert and Chisnall to light up Alexandra Palace with win

World Darts Championships – 2nd Round Matches

Steve Beaton v Kyle Anderson

19th December 2019

Kyle Anderson had a huge scare in the opening round of the world darts championships coming from two sets down to win three-two. Anderson was hugely fancied to get off to a comfortable start, but was shocked by Zong, who performed extremely well in the first two sets.

Steve Beaton is a darts veteran who has plenty of experience of the world darts championship. Unfortunately for Beaton his consistency and scoring doesn’t match the top players in the world and this has been the reason he doesn’t progress deep in many of the live television tournaments.

This match looks very even and could well go to a final set decider which is out best bet for the match.

Top Tip: Over 4.5 sets in the match at 2.63 (13/8) with Bet365

Danny Noppert v Callan Rydz

19th December

Danny Noppert has been performing very well the later part of the year and caused a few upsets in television tournaments by beating Ian White and Dave Chisnall. Noppert will be aware of the top seeds who have been eliminated in the 1st round so he has to start well and show the form he has been playing when beating these top players.

Callan Rydz came through his first round match by winning in the final set against Steve Lennon. This will have given Rydz huge confidence as he defeated a player who was significantly higher in the world rankings.

Noppert is a better player than Rydz and I expect him to show this in this match up. Noppert can start well and with good scoring and hitting his check outs can win by 2 sets or more.

Top Tip: Danny Noppert (-1.5legs) to beat Callan Rydz at 2.05 (21/20) with William Hill

Dave Chisnall v Vincent van der Voort

19th December 2019

This is the match of the day by a long way. Dave Chisnall has been in pretty good form and is fancied to go well in this tournament. He regularly features in the later stages of live tv tournaments and is capable of very consistent high scoring.

Chisnall is one of the players who is capable of going all the way to the final, but facies a very tricky match against van der Voort. The Dutchman has the capability of causing shock if Chisnall doesn’t start well. ‘Chizzy’ will have watched other top seeds go out in the first round and will know a good start is key in this best of 5 leg match.

We’re tipping up a correct score in this match as believe Chisnall will continue his good form and defeat van der Voort, however the Dutchman will take a set of Chisnall.

Top Tip: Dave Chisnall to win 3-1 in sets at 3.75 (11/4) with Ladbrokes
