Chisnall and Wright to show their class in their 3rd round matches

World Darts Championships – 3rd round match

Adrian Lewis v Darren Webster

23rd December

Adrian Lewis struggled early on in his 2nd round matches to Cristo Reyes but recovered well to win 3-2 in sets, having been 2 sets down. Lewis is not in great form at all and needed all his experience to claw back a victory. However, should Lewis perform to the same standard early on against Webster then it may be a different story.

Our tip delivered a winner on this 2nd round match as Reyes covered the +1.5Legs tip which added to our winners on the world darts tournament so far.

In this match, Webster will be fresh from his 2nd round victory and look to capitalise on Lewis' struggles. For this reason, our top tip in this match is to take Webster (+1.5legs) on the handicap market.

Top Tip

1.8 (4/5) Darren Webster (+1.5legs) to beat Adrian Lewis with William Hill

World Darts Championships – 3rd round match

Dave Chisnall v Jeffrey de Zwaan

23rd December

Dave Chisnall performed within himself on Thursday night in his 2nd round match against van der Voort to win 3-1 in sets. This was our top tip for the match and rewarded readers with a nice 3.75 (11/4) winner. As well as being one of our ante-post tips, Chisnall can continue to improve on his game in this 3rd round match.

Jeffrey de Zwaan came through a 5 set match against Darin Young in his 2nd round match and will need to step up when he faces Chisnall.

In this best of 7 sets, Chisnall can cover the handicap and win by 2 legs or more. His experience of big tournaments can be the difference, especially when it comes to the deciding legs to determine a set winner.

Top Tip

2.0 (Evens) Dave Chisnall (-1.5legs) to beat Jeffrey de Zwaan with William Hill

World Darts Championships – 3rd round match

Peter Wright v Seigo Asada

23rd December

Peter Wright hit 8 180’s in his 2nd round match and with an average of 96 he came through a tight match as his opponent played well above his level. This match gave Wright a good test which will give him good confidence as he aims to progress deep in the tournament. Wright also had the highest check out in the match of 140.

In this match, Wright should have too much for Asada and we’re tipping Weight to win, hit the most 180s and have the highest check out at 2.1 (11/10).

Asada came through his 2nd round match with a 3-2 win in sets over Brown, but facing Wright is a huge step up and he won’t be able to live with the higher-ranked player.

Top Tip

2.1 (11/10) Peter Wright to win the match, hit the most 180s and has the highest checkout with Betfred
