We’ve reached the decisive day with Benoit Paire and Pablo Andujar fighting for the Grand Prix Hassan II title this Sunday in Marrakech.

Benoit Paire vs. Pablo Andujar

Sunday, April 14, Marrakech

As we mentioned in our tournament analysis article earlier this week, Pablo Andujar is the most successful player in the history of the Grand Prix Hassan II. The 33-year-old is a three-time champion in Casablanca/Marrakech (the tournament changed its venue in 2016) and won 90.48% of the matches played throughout his career on this event. Adding to this, Andujar needed just 74 minutes to take down fourth seed Gilles Simon in a near-flawless semi-final on Saturday.

The defending champion will next take on Benoit Paire in the championship match of the 2019 Grand Prix Hassan II. Paire recovered from a set down to beat fellow Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 2-6, 6-4, 6-3 and reach his first ATP Tour final since September 2017 in Metz. Known as one of the most talented players on the ATP Tour, Paire broke serve five times and won 65% of the points played on Tsonga’s first serve. The 29-year-old will try to claim his second career title on Sunday after emerging victorious at the SkiStar Swedish Open in 2015.

[/]{"component": "embedHTML", "code": "

Everything was working for @AndujarPablo in the Marrakech semis 👏

After beating Gilles Simon 6-1, 6-1, who thinks the 🇪🇸 will retain his 🏆 on Sunday?

Catch all the action on @TennisTV pic.twitter.com/DkW80VmkGI
— ATP Tour (@ATP_Tour) 13 de abril de 2019
\n"}[/]

These two players will face each other for the fifth time in their careers. Paire leads 3-1 in their head-to-head but Andujar won their most recent encounter in Marbella two weeks ago.

Paire is an incredibly talented player but it’s impossible to go against Pablo on this event. The Spaniard is yet to lose a match since the tournament moved to Marrakech and won all his previous three finals in Morocco. On the other hand, Paire has a terrible 1-4 record in finals and is always very inconsistent. Having said that, our recommendation is to take Andujar to win the title at 79/100 (1.79) with Pinnacle as the best betting tip for this final.
